Now called “Hellfired Pizza,” I stopped in to give them a try.
Big mistake.
Took 5 minutes for a bartender/ server to acknowledge me. There was only 2 people at the bar…including me.

The pizza;

Ample pepperoni and cheese, crust was fresh and somewhat “crunchy”, leaning hand-tossed vs thin crust.

BUT…As I was eating my 1st slice, I bit into crunchy “somethings”. I was like wth?

Turns out it was corn meal, but hard and almost teeth breaking hard tiny bits. So I got “josh” over to my spot and showed him the bottom of my pizza slice and asked him what the deal was, as I have been eating pizza for like 50 years and I “know” that cornmeal is always used…but this was hard, crunchy bits of cornmeal.
Anyway, he took $6 off my bill and said he would do something about it in the future. I wont be back, so I’ll never know they actually switch cornmeal. It was very distracting while eating a slice of pizza to “crunch” into hard bits.
Oh well, on to the next pizza joint…

Stacey was the absolute best! She was so sweet and personable. We had Buffalo pizza, the hellfire pizza, and a salted cookie skillet that were all delicious. Prices were reasonable. We will definitely return!

This is my second time trying Hell Fired since they transitioned from The Rock. Menu is pretty similar to The Rock & they also still serve the alcohol mixed drinks buckets. They did some minor decor changes as well.

I got the ‘Spice Girl Mango Chile’ margarita. Yumm! Wish there was more tajin on the rim but the bartender personally served me my drink which was cool! For pizza, we got the ‘Spicy Aloha’ but subbed out the meats for pepperoni. Delicious! Only thing I didn’t like was them using fresh jalepenos instead of pickled, but that’s only bc I loveeee pickled jalepenos.

We wanted to order an appetizer so we ordered the ‘Hellfired Brussels’ but they were out of Brussels sprouts. So we went with chicken wings but they were out of wings & the specific sauce we wanted. So that was really disappointing as we came here for a special occasion.

Our server was amazing! She was very friendly & made sure we were taken cared of. We got our pizza pretty quickly, same with the drink. I will come back for the pizza & the service but don’t get your hopes up on appetizers.

The wings are the best wings you’ll find around. Wing stop and BWW are both terrible now. I highly recommend the rance flavor! Happy hour is a great value!

Atmosphere is same as The Rock, bartender Emilio was great!

Cool place, good music, good food, good drinks. I saw another review citing not enough toppings on the stairway to heaven; my experience was quite the opposite – most of my toppings fell off, there was a bit too much on top. Still good but difficult to eat, I had to use a fork and it felt like I was eating a salad!

Sorry it earned a 2. Meal went as follows. Ordered the mac appetizer it came out in cast iron and wood tray so it wouldn’t burn the table,,,, waste of time it was cold. barely room temp and the cast iron was cool to the touch.

Ordered 2 personal pizzas. Bat Outta Hell, at least it came out warm and the crust was nice. Chicken on it though? 3 pieces of shredded chicken that was very dry but i got 5 candied walnuts per slice of pizza… so that was interesting.

2nd pizza was called My Generation. Had 3 pieces of shredded chicken on it in total. flavor was bland as we couldn’t tell if it had white sauce or just a lack of red sauce… but at least it was warm i guess.

Then there was a show with dinner. Now i get that sometimes customers act a fool. and maybe that’s what this was as i didn’t see the initial part of it. however a lady was not pleased and while not yelling got a smidge loud. but so did the chubby fake blond bowl cut employee. While I’m not sure what happened i can safely say he needs training in de escalation techniques. Following a customer who is already walking out and repeatedly saying “get out of here bro” and waving your hand at a grown woman is in fact antagonistic, as well as a bad image for you.

The Spicy Aloha pizza and the Peachy bucket are absolutely delicious!! Noah makes delectable drinks, which hit the spot! We will definitely be back for more! Come check them out. And bring your friends, family, and acquaintances. They have a group space for reservations so bring your co-workers out for a special treat!

Great food at a reasonable price. It is truly hard to find a great experience or actual wood fired oven baked pizza. The Rock delivers on both! The atmosphere is a huge bonus. I am still wondering if some of the building was here originally or did they do a phenomenal job making it look older than it is. Come, eat, repeat.

While they have recently rebranded to HellFired Pizza, the inside seems to be very similar to what it used to be. We opted for a couple pizzas to go, and only had to wait about 10 minutes for them to be ready. Pizzas are super tasty, with a thin crust. Flavors are strong, and ingredients taste pretty fresh. They did have to remake one of our pizzas due to forgetting a couple ingredients but quickly got the new one out and let us take the mistake home. Friendly wait staff and reasonable prices for what you get. We would definitely come back here again!
