I visited this spot after a work dinner and it exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, a doorman was there to ask if I had reservations. Although I did not, he opened the doors to me and invited me to take the elevator or stairs down. The place has two sections- you walk into an area with a large bar in the middle and seating at the bar and bench seating all along the wall. Since I did not have a reservation, I sat and did some people watching, listening to music as well.

I asked the woman at the speakeasy door about reservations for one when I visit in the future and she just so happened to have a seat free at the bar. I grabbed my martini and sat down and almost immediately, the bartender Malacki dropped a glass of water. SUPER attentive and friendly! He also made one of the best daiquiris I’ve ever had. The whole place, especially the speakeasy section was such a vibe. I loved the band, the drinks, the ambiance and the guest service. It’s at the top of my list when I visit again!

Every interaction I had with a waiter or host was so positive and amazing. Our waitress was great, she was so attentive and so kind and bubbly it made the experience even better. The atmosphere and location is exceptional. Genuinely, cannot wait to go back with my friends and share this location with everyone.

From walking up to the purple light & receiving a “if you know you know” greeting to walking down flights of stairs to go beneath the sitting & finally walking through the velvet curtains into tunnel turned jazz speakeasy, it feels like you’ve been teleported 100 years back in time.

The vibes were immaculate, the live music was incredible, & all our drinks (the #3, #5, #6, & #9) were fantastic with the #3 & #5 being particular standouts for my wife & I. Our reservation was ready right on time & the service was top notch. We will definitely be back soon.

Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a relaxed & fun night out on the ton, great drinks, live music, a unique experience, or all the above!

What a fun speakeasy experience! A few floors down and you’re in another world! Good drinks, friendly staff, decent music, and an ambiance that’s full of life! It’s loud so prepare for that and if you’re in the back, it may not be as fun as when you’re in a larger group closer to the front side in a booth so location dependent on what you experience.

The bar area outside the reservable music space was giant bench seating with a bar in the middle so it’s pretty tight in there. Good luck on a conversation without screaming.

All in all a fun time but selective on experience based on where you’re at and the music that happens to be playing.

This was our second visit to Ghost Baby, and this time it was a complete success. On our first visit, we didn’t realize the venue didn’t have a kitchen or a small bites menu, so we left early. For this visit, we wisely had dinner beforehand and decided to wing it without a reservation—though I wouldn’t recommend doing that.

The venue itself is tucked away and marked only by a purple globe light on the street, making it easy to miss. Once inside, we were greeted by a hostess and directed down a staircase (an elevator is available, but we chose the stairs for the ambiance). The lounge opened into a stunning space with arched stone ceilings, rich wood trim, and a bar crafted from an old-time trolley. Velvet round bar seating and a long luxury velvet sofa with small tables created a cozy, intimate setting.

We were promptly greeted by a friendly, attentive, and efficient bartender who helped us choose cocktails and explained that seating in the lounge required coordinating with the hostess. Though we didn’t have a reservation, the hostess was kind and helpful, letting us know we could check again after 9:00 p.m. for potential seating.

While waiting, we enjoyed our drinks at the bar and on the long velvet sofa, soaking in the intimate atmosphere. Before we knew it, the jazz band began playing, and the experience was fully immersive. When we asked again about lounge seating, the hostess was able to accommodate us. We were seated at a gorgeous round teal velvet sofa with a perfect view of the stage.

The show was fantastic—the music, stage presence, and overall ambiance exceeded expectations. The staff throughout were professional, efficient, and attentive, ensuring we never went without a drink or assistance.

Overall, our second visit to Ghost Baby was a redemption trip—intimate, lively, and thoroughly enjoyable. We can’t wait to return, and next time, we’ll make a proper reservation to ensure the perfect experience.

I always love coming to Ghost Baby when I’m in town – they have amazing cocktails and a very cool ambiance. We did our most recent visit after the American Legacy Underground tour (which was awesome because we had just learned about the history of these brew caves) and got treated to live music with our cocktails. This is one of those institutions that shows just how cool Cincinnati is! I will absolutely be back.

Star of the night was the bartender pictured here. She took her time making a craft mocktail & she cooked on a gin cocktail she mixed for me. Perfect venue for our holiday party! Delicious cocktails, mocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Wonderful live music as well.

This is an amazing experience. Be aware, you may want to make reservations 4-6 weeks ahead of your planned visit. When you have a reservation you have a guaranteed seating in the back. They do have a bar area that is first come first served, however when it’s full, they close the doors. They do not serve food here which I believe is a good thing. Everything from the way the servers are dressed, to the lighting, to the live jazz band gives that speakeasy vibe that makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. Love this experience and will definitely come again.

Ghost Baby is completely adorable!!! It’s a speakeasy in Cincinnati that has a long history back to prohibition where alcohol was transported underground. We wanted to check it out but couldn’t get reservations (short notice). We went about 5pm on a Friday. The Rattle Room is where we entered. It was a cute bar with wrap around couches around the whole room. The menu has a variety of fun cocktails and beers. Logan, the bartender was helpful with recommendations and made delicious drinks. We will definitely go back and have drinks in The Den. It’s in the back, just through the curtains, where they have a bar, tables, and live music that starts in the evening (I think about 6pm). It’s a fun date night place or a nice place to take out of town guests.
