We got dinner here and overall enjoyed it. They took the order in a weird way which kind of threw me off. I wanted to order a few things but it took a while because they got the first thing I wanted and started cooking it, then they asked the next thing I wanted and started cooking it, then they asked the next thing and started cooking it and so on. I’m used to placing my order all at once and then sitting down and waiting on my food. It seemed to take so long to place my order and a line started forming behind me. Luckily they have two sides to go to to place your order even though it wasn’t clearly laid out. After an employee said something, some people got out of the first line and went to the 2nd side to order. Anyways, after the order confusion, we sat down at a clean table and waited for our food. It came out in a reasonable time and everything tasted good. Tacos were kind of small, but they tasted good so that was good. I’d eat here again, but would prob see if they offer online ordering so I could skip ordering in person.

My son and I have had nice eating experiences at this Felipe’s restaurant. Parking is a bit of a challenge if you have a full-sized vehicle. Their parking lot is tight, and the spaces small. If you have a full-sized vehicle you may want to park on the street. You stand in line to order and then pick up your order & pay at the cash register. I have tried a few different main course items but always come back to my favorite, the spicy chicken tinga Super Burrito. You can watch them make your choice and they have multiple options for cheese & veggie addition options. They are filling and they are good. Soft drinks & tea are a bit pricy at $3 per. Refills are included. They have several options for eating locations, both inside & outside. Enjoy!

I’m so thankful to have discovered Felipe’s Uptown when I recently moved to the area. The staff are so welcoming- and efficient!!! The bartenders obviously know their patrons well and by the end of my first visit I felt like a regular. DeShawn and Victoria are awesome. The food is delicious and a great value. (And Happy Hour is a steal!!)
