I went to the 51st street location on Sunday, midday around 3 PM. I was by myself and sat at the bar. Staff was kind and very attentive. I go to lots of restaurants alone and because I’m not a big party I find I don’t always get the best service. This is the third location I’ve been to and every time it has been a wonderful and pleasant experience. That says something about the people they hire and what they put into their employees. I spoke with the manager and bartender during and after my meal, just some small talk but they were very sweet and personable.
The food is also good. The lunch special is totally worth it and you might think it’s just an avocado toast but it’s so much more. It’s delightful. They’re very constant at all locations, which I appreciate. It’s safe to say I will be back.

It’s the perfect place to have a breakfast or a special weekend brunch. The food is consistently excellent. Always a pleasure to visit – highly recommend for the food and unique setting, but maybe aim for an off-peak hour if you want a more relaxed experience.

First time here and it won’t be last. Great food and service at great prices. The Avocado smash Tartine and Butternut squash soup were delicious. Our server Varya was very kind and attentive.

We stopped by both for breakfast in the morning and for happy hour in the late afternoon. The venue is spread over a very large area and feels quiet and clean, with high ceilings that create a great sense of openness. The food we tried was also tasty ,for breakfast, we chose goat cheese and avocado omelets, as well as avocado toast with hummus. Everything was tasty, and the service was at a satisfactory level.

Varya took excellent care of our table!
She was very attentive, knew the menu well, and helped us choose the perfect breakfast. She checked on us often to make sure we were happy with everything. We really enjoyed this place — the delicious breakfast, the cozy atmosphere, and Varya’s friendly, welcoming service. We’ll gladly come back here on our next visit to New York!
