I died and went to heaven at Chicago Mike’s: excellent Chicago Dogs, Fries and superb Italian Beef’s. Make sure that you go “Wet” on the Beef’s. Great Chef: all the food is equal or better than the best places in Chicago.

Just happened to be in the area and needed a quick snack. This place popped up as soon as I opened up my maps. Decided to give it a try. I only tried the Chicago Dog with everything on it. Granted that I’ve never been to Chicago, but this was definitely one tasty dog!!! The snap of the dog, the poppy seed bun, and even the perfect amount of celery salt. I was so impressed that I even ordered one to go!!!

After 9 years, I finally made it to a spot I’ve been wanting to try. As a Chicago native, I’ve tried many places that claim “Chicago” in the name, but Chicago Mike’s Beef & Dogs truly delivered. My family and I had the Italian beef, gyro, chili cheese dog, and of course, the famous Chicago pizza puffs. Everything was delicious and captured that authentic Chicago flavor, right down to the juices and hot peppers. This place is definitely a gem in Colorado. The service was very friendly quick and family-oriented. If you’re craving real Chicago food, give it a try—I can’t wait to go back!

I grew up in NW Indiana and Italian beef sandwiches are a staple in our cuisine. We just moved here recently and found this place and we were excited to find a place that serves real Chicago food. You know it’s authentic Chicago food when you see the bright green relish!
My husband and I both had the beef sandwiches and they were delicious. Loved all the Chicago Sports decor, reminds me of home. Go Blackhawks!!

I really enjoyed both the italian beef and the Chicago hot dog. I paid around $18 for both. The hot dog was a little small, but the Italian beef had a lot of meat.

I got it and it was covered in tomatoes and peppers and other things I didn’t ask for, no mustard either. The burger patties taste like frozen premade, low quality beef with hunks of cartilage. This Aussie’s just rolled into Chicago’s Mike’s Beef and Dogs, and crikey, I’ve been flung into hot dog heaven faster than a kangaroo on a pogo stick!
• Best hot dog I’ve ever had: This sausage sizzle was so good, I reckon it could make a dingo sing opera. Juicy, snappy, and packed with more flavor than a barbie at Bondi Beach. I’m still dreaming about it—my tastebuds are planning a bloody pilgrimage back!
• Clean place: Mate, this joint’s so spotless you could eat off the floor, but why bother when the hot dogs are this good? Not a speck of dust— cleaner than my nan’s house before Christmas lunch.
• Music playing: They’ve got tunes pumping louder than a ute full of bogans at a footy match. Proper vibes, like you’re chowing down in the middle of a rock concert in the outback.
• Quick service: These blokes are faster than a wallaby dodging a croc! I blinked, and my hot dog was ready—did they teleport it from the grill or what?
Fair dinkum, Mike’s is the real deal. I’d chuck a U-ey from Sydney just to grab another dog. Five stars, no wuckas!

I was pretty surprised with how low the prices are, the food came out hot, and the atmosphere felt natural and welcoming, try their chicken sandwich.
