Worst WH I’ve ever been to. Food was 1/2 burned, 1/2 undercooked, older waitress was very rude and was making statements like “that hasn’t been cleaned in 3 years and that’s why I bring my food from home” and “they don’t pay me enough to clean and take orders, they’ve lost their mind”, nothing a patron should hear. We brought it to someone attention and their reasons was simply “that’s how it is sometimes” and shrugged their shoulders. Just a terrible atmosphere and food even worse.

Did you know that the very first Waffel House was right here in K’ville? Well, now you do! Looking for good food, old style dining (complete with jukebox), day or night? Us old-timers do and a lot of us miss them. We’ll, keep your up-scales and picture this: Christmas Eve, light snow, big windows and the smells of coffee with a breakfast as good as your mom’s! If you walk out hungry, it’s your fault. AND they still serve those wonderful grilled hashbrowns we used to fight over. This is NOT a greasy dive. It’s a wonderful trip down memory lane and still making them worth ever moment!

I’ve been to Waffle House many times. I always order T-bone (rare), 2 eggs Sunnyside up with hash browns and toast. Food was delicious. Server was courteous and professional. I always bring a book to read while waiting. She also gave me some other book titles to look into that I might also enjoy reading.

This is Waffle House, you stop here because you know what to expect. This one really stood out in our travels though. Really clean, very good service, and the meals were excellent and timely. We stopped around 2:00 pm so I opted for the Philly Cheese steak melt with jalapenos and a Bert’s chilli washed down with a cherry Sprite. My wife has the chicken sandwich, which she said was very tasty. She always goes with the trusty hash browns with onions. If you are headed down the highway and looking for something other than fastfood, stop in.
By the way, it’s a Waffle House, a 4 atmosphere is tops. Lol

I ordered my food well done , hash brown, ham , eggs and the waffles . The guy seems like his mind was somewhere else , I told him eggs over hard , eggs were scrambled . He was acting a little funny trough out my dining. When it was time to bring me the waffles , he came bringing an African American lady with him and asked : hai dark you want your waffles and pointed at the lady’s arm which it was extended, so he said like this pointing at her arm or like that which was a brown jacket that ai was wearing “. Ver I disappointed and sour experience . I felt so uncomfortable that I just told them to bring them whichever way they had it. I have come to this place several times , but privious experience were excellent….

Been here twice in the past week, the staff is friendly but decides to use the jukebox as their personal stereo. It’s so loud as I sit here, I can’t have a conversation with my wife.
If a customer wants to play a song that’s one thing but I don’t want to come spend my money somewhere with horrible loud music blaring as I try and eat. Won’t be back till the staff creates a better atmosphere for the patrons.

I stopped by here on my way home from work on 4/19/22 as it was a “fend for self” type of day for dinner. I had been craving Waffle House, so I decided to stop on by.
There was only 1 couple in the restaurant, so it wasn’t busy at all. I was able to Waitress said they got new menu a few months ago and will be getting another soon. She added that they get new menus often and the prices go up.
I ordered my food around 7:52pm and they started working on it pronto. I ordered my usual, Texas bacon cheesesteak melt (onions included) with regular hashbrowns and a sweet tea. Tabby said the tea was a fresh batch. It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t sweet enough for me haha. I added some sugar that was on the table and it was good to go! My food was ready around 7:56pm. My food was tasty and definitely satisfied my craving! You ever had over cooked hashbrowns?? Ew! These were definitely not it as they were cooked to perfection.
My waitress was Tabby, per name badge. She, along with the female cook (Sandria), we’re really sweet and friendly. When it picked up a little bit, I watched Sandria change her globes frequently and helped out Tabby when people started. It was great to see teamwork!
After I finished eating, I had to use the restroom. I must admit that the restroom smelled funny… almost like dirty mop water BUT it was clean, nonetheless, for Waffle House.
Overall, pretty good experience. If I wasn’t playing games on my phone, I would’ve been in and out in 25 or less minutes. There is a jukebox by the window if anyone wants to listen to their favorite tunes. No issues or complaints for this visit. One suggestion (as if any manager is reading this, would be to have a way to utilize coupons without printing them off. I had a free waffle for my birthday and I forgot to print it before I left work.
