Long wait, but the wait was very worth it. After we’re seated we got very good salad and miso soup with many refills on our drinks. After the wait there was a really good and talented chef that put on an incredible show, and made amazing food. Would definitely go again.

Every was fabulous . The food was great, well seasoned, I had the chicken and filet mignon with extra rice and extra veggies. The salad with ginger dressing was beautiful after that delicious soup starter. Even my 18 month old love the food and cook’s presentation. I also had the carafe of plum wine. Take your time with it, it will sneak up on you, very though and lastly the sushi was a beautiful presentation. Overall a 10 out 10, make sure you are very careful walking in there the floors were a bit slick.

I came here for lunch and I had my expectations set based on another local Richmond Japanese steakhouse. I will say I left a little disappointed because the flavor was not what I expected. A lot of the food for me had a sweet undertone. And I don’t like sweet meat. I will say the waitress was nice as was to cook. But nothing to write home about. I doubt if I’ll have a return visit for me. It’s not worth a trip. But again it was OK. It was just nothing that peaked my interest on flavor.

I had an excellent experience at Kabuki Japanese Steak House! The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The chef was not only skilled at cooking but also put on a fantastic show, making the whole dining experience fun and entertaining. The restaurant itself was spotless, and the staff was very professional. It’s a great spot for both a tasty meal and a memorable night out. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

Ordered on DoorDash as we have done multiple times and have never had an issue. Ordered the seafood hibachi, salmon and tuna, well done, as we always do. The salmon was undercooked and limp, very disgusting and very disappointed. We have frequented this restaurant in person and online, for many years and never had a problem. Sorry to say but we will not eat here again for a long while.

This is the second time I have been here and both times I had a wonderful experience. Overall I rate this place a 4.3. The atmosphere is great. It gets busy and allows for you to a great cooking experience, but also allows for a special intimate moment with who you go with. We were seated right away and had our order taken within a minute or so. When the chef came out to cook the food the real show begin. After verifying our order, he proceeds to orchestrate your dining experience. The show that is put on in great. It’s full of fire, comedy, and an overall great visual display of art. The service was really good, and so was the food. The chicken was a some what dry it the sesame sauce helped with that. Definitely recommend to others for a great dining experience.

Food maybe a bit pricey but I think it’s worth it. The service, food, atmosphere were great! Food portions were good! My kids enjoyed watching the fire & the tricks! Big shout out to Alex, made our first experience here a great one with his tricks & jokes! We will be back for sure!

We eat here 4 to 6 times a year and have it delivered it is usually excellent last night the steak was overly seasoned and very fatty the chicken was cut up so fine it looked like mush and the scallops had a very strange chemical taste and smell to them like they were trying to hide bad seafood. We will not be dining here for a while it was very disappointing and a very expensive disappointment

We ordered steaks l. The cook does a show with an egg tossed to you to cach with your mouth then the rest of the eggs mixed with the rice. At the end fills your plate with rice topped with the stake. So basically we had rice and stake tiny salad and small bowl of chicken stock
