Since 1975, F&O’s has been serving Des Moines’ only true authentic Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza. We also serve mouth- watering burgers, a variety of appetizers, pasta dishes including our award winning Cavatelli. We also have thin crust, vegetarian and gluten free pizzas. On the bar side, we have 16 craft beers on tap and many big screen TVs. The restaurant side is large enough to accommodate a private party/group up to 125 people. This meeting space offers free WiFi, free access to our state of the art A/V and wireless mic. NO charge for the room, NO minimum order, NO auto gratuity. We also cater thousands of meals every year for groups 10-10,000. Trivia Friday Nights, Football Parties. Felix and Oscar’s has it all!

This place taste like home, it’s just comforting. My wife said the creamy parm and the ranch dressing were both to die for. Wings were CRISPY and HOT to perfection and it was door dash so extra impressive. They have individual deep dishes. My wife got a veggie lovers deep dish , loved it. I got a build your own- beef (which is like old school ground beef ), ham, onions and green peppers. Pizza sauce taste like my grandma made it, crust taste the closest I have had to genuine chi town deep dish in Iowa. Just delicious pizza. Ordered 2 times this week

This is a fun atmospheric restaurant. I have fond memories of going there as a lad in the late 70’s with my parents. The food is outstanding! All the time. The service doesn’t match though. As an adult I’ve found the servers seem distracted and tired and once you get your food you may never see them again, so make sure your glass is full when the food comes. To get the check you have to go look for them. The food is great so we stick to carry out.

Ordered delivery from F&O’s the other night for the first time in a long time. When selecting the delivery option on their site a popup appeared notifying about the $4 delivery fee, but it didn’t make it clear that you were being redirected to DoorDash. On the DoorDash platform the menu lists all the pizzas as “small deep dish cheese”, “medium deep dish cheese”, etc. Once you click on the item you can select additional toppings which increased the price of the pizza. But….when the order was transmitted to F&O’s it apparently only shows up as a cheese pizza since that was what was delivered to me.
The pizza was as good as I remembered, but beware if ordering anything other than a cheese pizza for delivery that you may pay extra for toppings that you might not receive.

The server was polite and helpful. Food was delivered hot and delicious. The dinner salad was so big I couldn’t finish it. I also took half of my sandwich home.

We LOVE their wings the sweet chili sauce is amazing! And their Cheeseburger is top tier. Also the Cheese topper pizza is to die for even the breaded tenderloin so good! We are obsessed and the staff is phenomenal! Also they have games for kids if you Dine in!

9/13/23 – Returned for more. Had to order another cheese topper pizza got the combo and my wife got a pepperoni and mushroom cheese topper. I also bought a to go container of the Creamy Parm Dressing. Everything was awesome again!
7/29/23 – Returned for dinner and ordered the Cheese Topper Combo and it was AWESOME! If you decide to partake make sure you order a size larger than needed as it is just as good as leftovers.
If you have never, you must must give this place a try. You won’t regret it!

Very good flavors and cheese had a perfect pull.
Wife had a Philly with fries. Beef sliced pretty thick and not very tender, still she liked it

I can’t believe we have slept on F&O! We were very impressed with their deep dish pizza. I typically favor thin but I love how crispy there crust is. Also their creamy parmesan was so delicious!! We can’t wait to try more items on the menu.

I’m from Manhattan NYC. I know pizza. This dough taste and feels like it was made from a Bisquick dough mix. We ordered thin crust, the toppings were good but made it a soggy floppy mess. Chicken tenders were from a freezer bag. Felt like munching on rocks on the edges .
