Waterfront seafood market & restaurant for local fish, grouper sandwiches, lobster & garlic bread.

We have been to this fabulous fish market three time is the past week. The fish selections are excellent, featuring many local species. John, at the counter, is a wealth of information about local seafood—and other interesting things to do/see. We sat outside on the deck one afternoon for a drink and our server Virginia was gracious and efficient. Highly recommend this operation!

Such a great restaurant to have a meal.
We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. They were all delicious:
The clams, the scallops, the asparagus, the broccoli, the salad. What a feast!
Seafood Atlantic does not serve fried food.
There is a nice terrace with a pleasant view on the water.
Service is great.
I highly recommend Seafood Atlantic.

Seafood Atlantic is a longstanding establishment that doubles as a fish market and prepared food destination. The restaurant exudes a well-worn, comfortable atmosphere that extends to its friendly staff, creating a welcoming environment for diners.
The outdoor seating area embraces simplicity with its picnic-style setup and plastic tube chairs. While this casual approach has its charm, it may not appeal to everyone seeking a more refined dining experience. The menu, showing signs of heavy use with some items becoming difficult to read, speaks to the restaurant’s long history in the community.
Where Seafood Atlantic truly shines is in the quality of its seafood. The fish is exceptionally fresh, and the establishment takes pride in offering only non-fried preparations. This commitment to quality ingredients is evident in every dish.
However, the value proposition is somewhat complicated. While the food itself is good, the picnic-style service and basic amenities somewhat diminish the overall experience. Nearby competitors with more typical restaurant atmospheres and longer wait times may offer a more polished dining experience.
Seafood Atlantic occupies an interesting niche—it’s unpretentious and focuses on quality seafood, but lacks the ambiance and refinement found at other local establishments. Whether you’ll want to return depends on what you prioritize: if fresh, prepared seafood in a no-frills setting appeals to you, this could be your spot. For those seeking a more elevated dining experience, there are other options worth exploring first.
– Food Quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) – Exceptionally fresh seafood with quality non-fried preparations
– Atmosphere: ⭐⭐½ (2.5/5) – Well-worn, casual picnic-style setting lacks refinement
– Service: ⭐⭐⭐½ (3.5/5) – Friendly staff with a comfortable, welcoming approach
– Value: ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) – Good food quality but basic amenities affect overall value perception
– Ambiance: ⭐⭐ (2/5) – Simple outdoor seating and worn menus detract from the dining experience
– Overall: ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) – Solid seafood in an unpretentious setting, but other options may be worth trying first

Neat little place with fresh seafood that isn’t fried. We had the blackened grouper and crab cakes. Fish was so flaky and fresh tasting not fishy at all! The crab cakes were okay. The service was great.

Average, overpriced on-water dining experience. Only seating is outside. Food was meh…shrimp tacos were flavorless with shrimp that were unbelievably tiny:(. Two $18 tacos should at least come with a decent side and not just gas-station nacho chips and plain salsa from a jar. Coleslaw was flavorless & Coke Zero was flat. Would not go back.

Great location right in the harbor, with beautiful views of the water. The oysters and shrimp were absolutely top-notch – fresh and flavorful. The clam chowder was outstanding, rich and perfectly seasoned. Friendly and polite staff made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for seafood lovers!

What a perfect place to spend the afternoon with friends and/or family. The food at Seafood Atlantic is not fried, it’s grilled to perfection with your choice of seasoning. My wife had the fresh fish taco’s and I had the Mahi Burrito. We both started out with the potato soup and everything was delicious. The atmosphere is exceptional and you get to enjoy the amazing cruise ships coming in.
People of all ages will enjoy this place. We will definitely be returning customers.

Myself and my 2 sons (14 & 5) ate dinner at Seafood Atlantic. We had the seafood Feast for 4. The snow crab, mussels, clams, shrimp, corn and potatoes were delicious and the broth was flavorful without being overly salty. The seafood seemed very fresh. You can chose between salad or soup. We had the salads and they were average. Our only negative would be that there would not have been enough food / seafood, in our opinion, to fully feed 4 people. Overall, we’ll worth it.

We always enjoy our time at Seafood Atlantic when in the area. The ambiance sitting at the waterfront deck is so peaceful, enjoying the dolphins and pelicans. Our go-to meal is the crab boil for two, which includes snow crab, red shrimp, hardshell clams, PEI mussels, corn, and taters. It really gives you a nice sampling of what the menu offers. Everything is steamed to perfection and then marinated in fantastically seasoned butter sauce. A side order of chowder is what I get (perfection), but the Ceasar salad is quite tasty as well. This time, we also enjoyed the mini crab cake appetizer – mmmm. Service is always friendly, knowledgeable, and speedy. You won’t regret enjoying a meal at Seafood Atlantic!
