I was enjoying lunch with some good friends at JoJo’s recently and wanted to share the experience. When brought to our table it felt like we were posing for the “last supper”. We had a private room with a long table and we all sat facing out.
The service was amazing. The server knew the menu very well, he shared some recommendations and moved as quickly as he could. Unfortunately he did get caught up with a few other tables so he slowed down a bit towards the end.
The food was fresh, hot and tasted great. Any food accommodations were made for us. The desert menu was small, I’m told the cheesecake is fluffy.

Delicious! So glad we decided to give them a try. Service was great, food was awesome. The hostess gave us a brief tour of the restaurant since it was our first time visiting. The salad bar looked great and I love the family suites off to the side in their own little areas to allow for parents and larger groups to enjoy their experience more. Will return!

Service was great! I loved the salad bar. I did not enjoy the Cajun chicken pasta bowl. I ordered mushrooms and broccoli as an extra and it appeared as if it was one mushroom chopped up and broccoli was very tough. The top of sauce was watery and flavor was not good at all. I did enjoy the sample crab soup so I ordered a cup to go. I can say I enjoyed my dinner except pasta bowl. Yes I will give them another try.

Where do I start, from the warm greeting upon entering, and the awesome Staff! But it gets better, Jo’ Freshers, get it spiked, now let’s get to the food, the crab soup is the best on the East Coast! Period, don’t argue with me on this point. I had the fish & shrimp, literally 2 could eat off my plate and I have to say the whole experience was just that awesome! Please go! Please go! Please go! FYI! Black owned!

The staff were kind and attentive during my dinner meal. The crab soup had a lot of jumbo lump meat but the rest the meal was fairly bland (including the wine). The portions are hearty so you won’t walk away hungry.

We were traveling north and always like to patronize local businesses, and we’re hungry for some fresh seafood. Based on reviews, we decided to stop here. It did not disappoint. Incredibly impressed with the facility.
Walking in everything looked bright and clean and smelled fresh. Nicole, our hostess, asked us if it was our first time and when we said yes, took us on a tour of the facility. From private dining rooms to intimate dining nooks, to the main dining room, we got a feel for this wonderful place. Perfect for small intimate gatherings or large business meetings.
Something that jumped out of us right away was the wall of honor which listed the names of all of the locals who had served in the military and sacrificed their lives in support of our nation’s freedom.
The food was exceptional. Ty, our waiter, recommended the crabcakes, which is what they’re known for. Made from Colossal blue crab. They claimed it was the best in Maryland, and I believe them! Huge chunks of crab meat, no filler, lightly seasoned, just the way I like it. Also added a cup of the crab soup, which was absolutely wonderful. We could not have been happier. I’m sure some folks would consider the menu to be slightly on the pricey side, but I’m willing to pay for quality.
I also wanna commend Thai our waiter. He was attentive without being intrusive, knew the menu back-and-forth and was able to provide feedback and suggestions, and had a smile that just made you feel at home. We really felt treated like family
We are definitely going back.

Amazing experience! They started us with a tour around the restaurant before showing us to our own little private spot. The set up is great and gives you a quiet place to enjoy your dinner. We got our drinks quickly and they never ran out. The food came out fast and was cooked perfectly. This was definitely some of the best food I have ever had. The ambassador was at our table with samples talking about the restaurant and foods they have. We ended up order take out of other items to try. It was an experience we will remember and it is worth the drive from the beach. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. I would definitely recommend trying everything on the menu!

Update- Ive added a video of our dinner since the Jojo’s response thinks this is a fake review. Unfortunately you can’t hear our complaints on here. My brisket was barely touched, the salty bread sticks not eaten, her soup half eaten and the salty skin picked off her wings. The food on table is what was not eaten. Ive noticed a trend of the responses being very unprofessional. You dont normally see that from a restaurant owner/manager. It definitely shows their level of professionalism. I can post videos with the sound of complaints on social media if Jojo’s would like to see what the public thinks.
My girlfriend has been wanting to try this place for awhile and we both like supporting local businesses. We really wanted to like this place since we’ve seen decent reviews.
We were given bread sticks before ordering. They had to be frozen microwaved bread sticks with garlic salt added. Extremely salty and just not good.
We started with the cream of crab. We both felt it was bland and the lumps of crab were mushy. My girlfriend had the monsta wings as her main course. They were definitely big and looked delicious however they were incredibly salty almost like they were seasoned and topped with more salt. I had the brisket over Mac n cheese. The brisket was very tender but also very salty and strangely enough, the Mac was bland. I could only eat a couple bites. The atmosphere as well as the staff were very nice. We really wanted to like this place but we wont be back.

Food was standard restaurant fare. Nothing stood out. The French onion soup needed more seasoning. The salad bar was ok. You do get good portions for a decent price, but they do need to season their food better.
