We stopped in for dinner and this was just what we needed on a cold snowy night. There was live music while we were there that created a good atmosphere without it being overwhelming. All of our dishes were hearty and filling. Definitely stop in for a drink or a bite to eat, you won’t be disappointed.

Coleman’s in Syracuse is great if you want Irish food and want to feel like you’re in an Irish pub. Great vibes and great food. Love the little leprechaun phone booth and entrance. Great little Photo Opportunity.

Visiting Syracuse several times a year and of course had to check out the famous Coleman’s! They have a great Irish whiskey selection, and beers as well. I enjoyed the Sheppard’s Pie, which was amazing as you can see from my before and after photos! The service is also top notch and friendly customers! Tuesday is trivia night just fyi! If you are ever in Syracuse, check out Coleman’s! And don’t forget to spot the leprechaun entrance, in case you bring the wee littl’ ins’!

The food was incredible and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The pub itself has super charming decor with indoor and outdoor seating. They also have live music and events, which is really cool. Not only is Coleman’s a great place to grab some tasty food and drinks, but it’s a cornerstone of the local community. If you’re in Tipp Hill, you owe it to yourself to come here.

I went here with four people at the last minute on a Sunday night. The kitchen closes at 9 or 10. I ordered the Shepperds pie. It was tasty and hot. The drinks were decent. The food in general was good. Mary and Chris were helpful. Chris was bartending and Mary sat us and got our food.

Coleman’s is the place to be on St Patrick’s Day! My friends and I continue the tradition of celebrating the holiday on Tipperary Hill and Coleman’s is where we start and end the day. Always a festive Irish Pub ambiance and service is on point even on a crowded holiday. They kept the green beers flowing with live music and bag pipes pipering. I ordered Shepherds pie and an Opened Faced Reuben to go, which were delivered promptly even with the crowd. I loved the Shepherds pie,
devoured the creamy comfort food in minutes. I will definitely be ordering that again. The open faced Reuben did not keep well as a to go order but I’m sure is delish when served fresh! I ordered fries as a side and was surprised with the yummy little round cottage fries! We always have a great time at Coleman’s!
Another great visit to Coleman’s! A great evening with BFF and her out of town siblings. Great food these are just a few of the dinners ordered, the beef on weck was one of the best I’ve had in the area. Fresh kimmelweck roll, horseradish with a kick, and Au Jus, I wish the roast beef was more rare than well but still excellent. Others enjoyed steak cooked to order, fish, grilled chicken sandwich, mash and bangers, love the round fries that are actually chips in Ireland. Julie provided attentive service with a smile and grace! Always love the authentic Irish vibe at the restaurant and bar. We then ventured to the outdoor venue with Arcade performing. Really fun 80’s band! Outdoor beverages in two locations out back, both were only a quick wait time. Outdoor flatscreens for sport events, and a food truck serving hot dogs out back! Enjoy the craic!

Overall they get a five stars for excellent service, great atmosphere, and good tap beer selection. Everyone from the hostess to our waitress were happy, energetic, quick, and very responsive. The chicken fingers were good but the typical expectation. The cheese platter was served with a horseradish dipping sauce which everyone liked. We stopped here while traveling and were pleasantly surprised by the lively / energetic atmosphere and out door seating options. We would definitely recommend.
