Nothing fancy but comfortable, casual and great little place to eat. Great servers and the kitchen is incredibly fast, our food was up in less than 5 minutes during the lunchtime peak. Servings were generous and the beer was cold and tasty.
It’s definitely not in classic old Mexico style, more like Gringo-Mex, the kind of local Mexican style restaurants most of us non-Latino folks from this part of the country grew up on. There’s nothing wrong with that, you like what you like!

Great little dive/sports bar. Food is consistent and comes out almost immediately. Spicy if you want it to be. They have award winning green chili. Crispy rellenos are amazing, drinks are reasonably priced.

We have been long-time patrons, however, we no longer live close enough that we can order take-out and have it eaten within 20 minutes. My SO ate there today and ordered takeout for me. He specifically told the waiter to have the cheese and lettuce put in a separate box so I wouldn’t have warmed lettuce on a burrito I was going to have to reheat anyway. This is the second time he has made that request and the second time I have had warm lettuce on my burrito. He didn’t re-order for the age-old fear that my food would get spit on or worse. Needless to say, the waiter only got 20% of the tip that he would have otherwise gotten had the takeout order been as requested and I wouldn’t be writing this review and taking off a star for the not so great take-out experience.

One of the few reasons I EVER travel to Denver! Quite simply the best chile con queso in the state! Their chile rellenos are amazing as well, providing a unique cheese and texture. Smothered in chili of 3 choices in heat, they are absolutely amazing and I’ve never been disappointed. Sometimes I stop in just for a chips and queso with a beverage. Fantastic lowkey Mexican restaurant/bar with amazing food options that I have loved for over a decade. MUST TRY!!!!

This is as old school Denver as it gets. Hidden between the a fading warehouse district and the light rail line off Santa Fe, you step into a time machine and go back to when John Elway was slinging tuddies while this place was slanging truly Denver-style mexican food with a bar that would make your grampy tear up. Love the nostalgia and the food is still pretty good too. Had to respect their extreme level of smothered where you can’t even tell what you’re eating, also for getting called a wuss by the waitress for not ordering spicy, she was right. Long live what’s left of old Denver!

I have been to my share of dives. Haven’t been to the Brewery II in a long time. Bad food, had to ask for set ups, service was incompetent. The worst part was when a ceiling vent fell on my head and wrist. Had to ask for a bandaid. The reaction was like it was an everyday event. They took the glass of wine and n/a beer off the menu. There are much better, safer places to eat.

Okay, so ! My husband and our friend decided we are coming here today for lunch. They haven’t been here in 20 years they say. I’m thinking of some fAncy new place…we walk in…and the place is popping. Super friendly staff, super cool place. Great food. We had tostadas, burger, and smothered burrito plus chips and salsa and queso. I’m definitely coming back!

Best relleno in town. The #1 is the best. And about the green chili… it is unique. Call it green chili, call it sauce, whatever it is, it is delicious. The chips and salsa are great too. I have eaten here more times than I can count. Lunch or dinner, Brewery Bar always delivers! The staff are awesome too! Love this place!
