My family and I went here tonight for an early dinner. The restaurant was nice, clean, and quiet. It had sports playing on TVs around the restaurant and the decor was pretty!
For the food, it was so delicious! We let everyone try our plates and there wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.
One daughter got 2 chimichanga dinner
One got Mexican shrimp scampi
One got a pepper jack wrap
My husband got a Texas steak with shrimp (I didn’t get a picture of my husband’s dish before he started eating )
And I got the Diablo shrimp (not the full name).
For dessert we ordered the churros with chocolate drizzle.
The chips and salsa before dinner were delicious so we ordered cheese dip and extra chips as well.
The diablo shrimp was so so delicious! I expected a little more spice for the name, but it actually had a great balance of heat and flavor.
Everyone enjoyed their dishes and the flowers are edible!
The only downside was the service, it wasn’t bad but our drinks ran out a couple times and we had to wait to ask for refills a couple times.

Red 5 Standing bye
My first time here in many many years. It was very good. I stopped by on November 13th a little after 12:00. It’s great really fast. The young server was very polite and punctual. I had a great time until some of my fellow customers made it well. Let’s say less than desirable. Kids will be kids and I understand that, but you should be able to tell your kids to knock it off and have him listen to you before you potentially ruin somebody’s lunch. Not entirely their fault because again the food is great and so is the staff but having a bunch of noisy screaming kids definitely didn’t do it for me.

We just popped in for a quick appetizer and had a great experience with our waiter, Angel. He was so fast, friendly and fun to talk to! He hails from the Gulf of Mexico. We were craving jalapeno poppers and these were just okay. They were nice and crunchy but lacking in seasoning and flavor. The dipping sauce was also pretty bland. I requested an extra sour cream which was $0.99. Beautiful presentation, though, with a fresh orchid. We’d love to come back and have dinner here sometime.

This was the absolute best! We got Margaritas and the special combos. We actually bought extra salsa to take home. The Margaritas actually had a tequila flavor. Very much worth the price. We had Mariana and she was such a delight! Thank you girl for rounding out the excellent dining experience!!!!

Mixed bag. I grabbed lunch a few days ago. Called in my order before heading out so it would be ready when I got there. It wasn’t, and oddly enough the front of house seemed to take a second order from me.
They just seemed to lack organization. Which meant I sat for 15 mins while my order was prepared. It’s not the end of the world, but an inconvenience nonetheless.
I ordered a burrito campestre. It was fine. It’s roughly the same quality of all the other local Mexican restaurants. Nothing stands out as being great, but nothing is off putting either.
Will I be back? Probably not since I go past three Mexican restaurants to get to this one. And I can’t tell any difference in the quality between nearly all of them.
If you are in Mansfield and want Mexican, I’ve learned that they are pretty much all the same. Just go to the closest one.

Travel Always
Over the past five years this place has grown on us. They have some great deals, quick service, and consistently hot food. The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is festive. I suggest the Philly Steak Tacos!
