We were in town staying behind the Darcy Pub. We decided to try it out. We saw they had fish & chips and that sounded like fine last meal before surgery. It looked like nice quiet place for such a meal…WRONG!!! This place was hopping and everyone seemed to be having a fine time…
Our waiter was. Awesome the wife & I split an order of Atlantic Cod fish and chips. They did offer 4 different fish to choose.it was an Outstanding choice. My only knock were the frozen fries as chips but I was not there for fries. The housemate tartar sauce was also very good but not as good as the Malt Vinegar. Since we were in an Irish Pub we thought we would order drinks and settled on the ol’ Irish classic a MARGARITA…We are flatlanders so please forgive us.
The fish, The atmosphere & The Service were all Outstanding.
The Darcy’s experience was the total opposite of what I was expecting very uplifting and we left with smiles on our face…
Thank Y’all….

Avoid at All Costs – Terrible Service and Food

What an absolute disaster of a dining experience. I wish I could give zero stars.

The service was hands down the worst I’ve encountered in Denver. Our server completely ignored us for the majority of our visit, walking past our table multiple times without so much as eye contact while she chatted up what appeared to be regulars at the bar. We received exactly ONE drink from the time we sat down until we asked for the check – that’s it. She was clearly more interested in discussing her weekend party plans than actually doing her job.

But somehow the food managed to be even worse than the service. Absolutely zero flavor and genuinely inedible – I took exactly two bites before giving up and asking for the check. For an Irish pub, their fish and chips had about as much flavor as wet cardboard that’s been sitting in the rain for a week. It’s actually impressive how something can taste so aggressively bland.

The complete lack of professionalism combined with food that belongs in a garbage can makes this place an easy pass. Denver has an incredible restaurant scene with countless amazing options – do yourself a favor and choose literally anywhere else.

This was such a poor experience that I felt compelled to warn others. Save your time, money, and taste buds. Darcy’s is not worth a single minute of your evening.

Go anywhere else. Seriously.

Amazing pub next to the Hampton Inn. I visited three times while on a business trip. The staff are knowledgeable about beer and food menus. The food is delicious. The first day, I had the Darcey burger with fries with and old-fashioned. Day two, I went for the more traditional Bangers and Mash with a next beer chosen by the bartender. Day three was the Buffalo wings and Parmesan garlic wings. The curry French fries stile the show. The menu is loaded, you can’t miss.

Darcy’s is the only place where an “appetizer” is actually a personal challenge to your cardiovascular system and the cocktails are solid enough to make you forget the draft list is three cans and a dream. The service is “present,” but the noise level from a local office party was so aggressive I spent forty minutes just nodding at my friends’ mouths moving. It’s the perfect spot if you love massive plates of pub grub and absolutely hate hearing your own thoughts.

My go to for a really good flavored comfort, food and variety. They will fix things to order no problem.

I’ve always loved this place. I went out of my way to stop in for lunch. They have great fish and chips! Fries were cold, but not a big deal.

I probably won’t come back. My server was rude and had an attitude. I came in kind of casual — but it felt like she had judged me and treated me according to that. It hurt watching her smile and laugh with other customers, while giving me no time of day. She didn’t introduce herself, like literally gave bare minimum service. perhaps she was annoyed because I asked to sit in a single booth rather than a three-person high top? She even dropped off the check mid-meal.

It’s not the end of the world. I still tipped her 18%, but really she actually deserved 0.

We love I here. My wife and I hit this placefor happy hour every 2-3 weeks. Great drink specials – beer and wine. The service is always excellent. Our only knock on is that the oyster availability is hit and miss. Otherwise, the kegs, wings, artichoke dip are all great. Just had the currencies the othernight…freakin’ killer!

The food is perfection! Try the pierogi dish. It comes together so perfectly with the sauerkraut and bacon.

Also, ask your waitstaff for their recommendations. Our waitress, Trinity, went above and beyond in her recommendations, and each one was a hit with my boyfriend and I. Her amazing service and enthusiastic personality put Darcy’s at the top of our list of places to eat next time we visit Colorado!

This is the place I take my friends and family when they first visit Denver, and it’s the place they always want to go back to when they visit again. I’ve been to this place so many times and every single time everything is phenomenal. The French dip and anu jus, incredible. The fries, WOW. Every single time I’ve been there everyone at the table has raved about their food. And it’s always consistent. I went there yesterday and just writing this review is making my mouth water and I want to go back again today. Keep it up Darcy’s, you are fantastic.

Darcy’s is the best Irish pub in town. It is a popular place when a game is on. Although crowded on St. Patrick’s Day, it was worth seeing live bagpipes music. They have a library back room which is private and cozy. In the winter, they have fires in the fireplace. I often come for brunch. In addition to their breakfast menu, I recommend their bangers & mash, corned beef sliders and their desserts. They are accomodating to people with dietary restrictions. Prices are reasonable. The staff is kind and always accommodating. I highly recommend visiting Darcy’s.
