Waiters are super nice.
Minuses: The atmosphere gets easily too noisy…
Best if you reserve in advance!
Would love to see this place busier; BBQ always shines more when it’s fresh from the smoker rather than reheated. Still, a strong recommendation for meat lovers in Brussels.
As to the food: To start, we shared a smoked bone marrow that was very tasty.
For the mains i always go for the sharing platters as I like to get a bit of everything. Overall it’s pretty good but i find some of their cuts a bit dry, esp the brisket.
If you tap into their extensive whisky and Bourbon bar, expect the bill to rise quickly. Not that it’s completely outrageous but about 10% too much.
It’s still a cool place to go to with your carnivore friends and as far as I’m aware the only smokehouse in brussels.
We had the:
1) pulled pork nachos: absolutely amazing (9.2/10)
2) bone marrow: 8.3/10
3) brisket burger: 8.5/10
4) pork ribs: (7.7/10)
5) Brisket: very delicious but very heavy (8.6/10)
I will probably head back, but rather a yearly type or restaurant.
The restaurant is pretty cosy, with a very industrial, rough decoration.
The staff and service was amazing. Helpfull, fast, full of advices and informations about the food. It was wonderful !
And now, the food. Everything was tasty and pretty uncommon in a good way. It’s been a while that I have tasted a style of cuisine that’s so unfamiliar. It was really refreshing to try it.
I highly recommend you to try their “Fat” Brisket and the Asian Pulled Pork with tortillas.
PS:
– Yes, your clothes will smell like smoked meat after that.
– Reserve a table at night, because the restaurant is really packed and there is a line of people waiting (you Can do it online on their website!)
