We had a wonderful visit to The Kettle cafe in Enumclaw on October 24, 2025, around 11:30 AM, and it was such a warm and authentic experience! The place was bustling when we arrived, but everything was still spotless and organized. You can tell this restaurant really cares about keeping things clean and welcoming. It has that small-town charm with an inviting and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
We ordered the Mickey Mouse pancake for the my nephew, along with orange juice, coffee, and The Kettle Scramble — everything was delicious, fresh, and came out looking amazing. The flavors were comforting and homemade, just what you’d hope for from a true local gem. Even though our order got mixed up at first, our server handled it with such kindness and grace. She mentioned she was new, but she was doing an incredible job! She had the biggest smile, stayed patient despite the rush, and made sure we were happy and taken care of.
What really impressed us was how authentic the entire experience felt — from the food to the friendly service. You could see how hard the staff was working even during the busy rush, and they all kept a great attitude.
Another thing we loved is that The Kettle offers amazing discounts for first responders and service members. That kind of thoughtfulness and appreciation for the community deserves recognition.
Overall, we had a fantastic visit. The Kettle is clean, authentic, family-friendly, and full of heart. Great food, wonderful service, and a welcoming environment that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Enumclaw — it’s a true local favorite!

Had Breakfast here, had eggs toast and home fries. Home fries were not cooked great, and I didn’t eat them, but I’ll pay for them no problem. Eggs were on point, toast would have come with two slices but knowing these breakfast places I knew to ask for two pieces of toast cut in half. Would have gotten jipped otherwise, but the waitress did offer me as much toast as I want which was nice. Price is expensive for breakfast here, and I eat light so that’s saying alot. Cook here is loud and obnoxious.
Don’t order the breakfast potatoes here. Not good. Save yourself the stomach ache and bloating later on. Do your body a favor and eat delicious food and don’t settle for less.
I appreciate the owner picking my dish up at the end and asking how things were, however, I could not tell him how bad his cooks potatoes were, instead I’ll leave this review and remove it in a couple days.

It is the absolute best especially for breakfast. Their homemade muffins are the absolute best! The breakfast especially the scrambles are more than any one person could eat even their half orders are more than 2 people can eat! So amazing I recommend to everyone!

It is very pricey for the quality of food. My chicken fried steak was clearly out of the freezer, then deep fried. The gravy tasted either from a can or mix (not homemade). The scramble my son got had spicy hotdogs in it with lots of potatoes and very few eggs. My wife got the apple pie french toast. Unfortunately, it had canned apple pie filling on it. For the prices here, everything should be more homemade. Service was good. The blueberry muffin was great! A young couple came in and brought their pet bird (they were holding it). Our waitress did address it and told them they can’t bring animals into the restaurant. I guess a compromise was reached because they put the bird in a backpack, but it was still in the restaurant. We probably will not eat here again. It just wasn’t our thing.

Excellent service and overall good experience for me. I had the Enumclaw scramble, it was too much portion for me for the full, still very delicious. And the muffin was excellent. Definitely going back again!

Saddened to see this place feel like a Sysco slop kitchen. Cheese not melted, muffins don’t taste the same and just has lost its luster. I’ve been coming here since I was a child. Chicken fried steak was lost, appeared to be a frozen patty. The special was pork belly hash but was just a mound of potatoes with some meat. No seasoning, no onions, no veggies. Hillbilly’s favorite was cold and cheese unmelted.
Saving grace, the staff is amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the portions have stayed the same, I guess the cost of maintaining service.

Saturday morning 1st ones in restaurant 639 am. Ordered biscuit and gravy potatoes and sausage patty. The potatoes were really salty and gravy was cold. Couldn’t eat bottom of biscuit was so hard couldn’t cut it or poke with fork. Sausage patty was even cold and we were only ones there. Will not go back again. Wife’s food bad to got omelette cheese not melted inside or out. Asked for ham and cheese omelette got cheese omelette. Potatoes really salty.

Service isn’t fast, so if you are wanting a quick meal, then this isn’t the place for you. Every time we have been here, its been 8 min or more before we see a server just to get coffee. We know this so we come here for the food. The cafe is quaint and small, so if there are open tables you get seated right away, but can get extremely busy and can have a 10-20 min or more wait.
