I had the fried shrimp with beans, and the food itself was good — the shrimp were cooked well and had nice flavor. That said, the overall experience fell a bit short. The atmosphere was pretty dull, the restaurant felt gloomy, and there was a noticeable odd odor that made it less enjoyable to sit and eat. If you’re just stopping by for the food, it’s decent, but the ambiance could definitely use some improvement.

The restaurant was spotless and well maintained, which made a great first impression. While the greeting at the front felt a bit reserved, the overall experience turned out to be very pleasant. The food truly stood out, especially the shrimp, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.

First time coming to the catch. The menu had a lot to choose from. The atmosphere was comfy and the place was clean. The food was surprisingly good. Very well seasoned, not pricey and I will be back.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food portions are pretty big enough to share. The flavor of the food is so good. We will definitely be coming back. We had the Gator basket the pieces of gater were a good size not like the popcorn chicken size we have had at other places. They tasted so good to. The fried mushrooms and fried green tomatoes are also very good.

We were extremely disappointed. We came for an early dinner, around 5PM. It had been recommended to us a while back as a good place to get seafood. If I ate at a place with worse seafood I cant remember when.
I had the sampler plate – catfish, shrimp, boudoin, hush puppies. I also had a cup of jambalaya. For our side i had corn on the cob and boiled potatoes. So I think we had virtually every seafood thing that they offer.
The hush puppies were ok. And they were the best part of the meal. The jambalaya was overcooked. It had obviously been sitting in the soup warmer all day. We weren’t there very late in the day, but it had been in the cooker far too long. The shrimp were overcooked in the deep fat fryer. The boudoin was mushy and bland. The catfish was overcooked in the fryer and it tasted like the fryer grease hadn’t been changed in a very long time. I generally eat most things even if they aren’t perfect. But I vould only eat a couple of bites. The corn and potatoes were covered in butter ( as I requested). But the butter tasted old and perhaps rancid. I could only eat a couple of bites.
Regarding the dining area, it was clean and there was plenty of comfortable seating. It was easy to find close parking. The staff was competent and we received our food in a reasonable time.
The place is very expensive for a casual seafood place. My wife and I paid over $50. Which seems high for this casual restaurant.
We will not be going back.

We wanted to try a seafood spot in the area. The food was ok, hush puppies were not hot and lacked flavor. The boudin had good flavor as did the catfish and whitefish on the Admirals plate. The crawfish was slightly rubbery and the batter was overcooked. Oysters tasted wierd and not fresh (this may be because we normally get them at Miller’s in galveston where they taste like they are right outta the ocean) I did enjoy the atmosphere because it looks authentically like a great seafood house. If only the service would have matched the ambiance but that was probably the worst part of the experience. When we initially walked in the waitress was in a back office on her cell phone and did not initially greet us. I feel that she finished her text and then came out to tell us how to order and then disappeared back into the office. She did re-emerge to take our order with a little lack luster. We were specifically hesitant to eat here because of the comments about the platinum haired waitress (which is who we got) I ended up tipping her 20% to bring food to the table to never be seen again. Then it was like my girl bothered her asking for a to go bag after having to get our own to go boxes because we were never checked on again after she brought our food. Maybe she was having a bad day but this is how places go outta business and I am obviously not the first to have an issue with the lack of hospitality. Needless to say we will not be back!!

Son was in the mood for seafood and this was the first place he thought of. It’s a cool and cozy atmosphere with great food and service to match. Looking forward to goin’ back.

Ordered from DoorDash and it was under the name Cajun Creation. Followed the address and it led me here which was surprising because I’ve had the catch before and it was good. This food , not so much. The bowl of gumbo was gritty, like the flour wasn’t dissolved properly. The tater tots were old and tasted like grease. The chicken fingers were old, dry and hard. The hush puppies were rock solid and when you bit into them, the cornbread crumbled like dirt. The fried fish was salty and beignets were hard and greasy. If this is the wrong place , I apologize, but this is where it led me. I will not be ordering again.
