Yankees Smokeshack did NOT disappoint!
The cornbread with maple butter was absolutely delicious — sweet, warm, and the perfect start to the meal. I ordered the Pig Out pulled pork with bacon and cheese and wow… just yum!!! So flavorful, loaded, and perfectly cooked.
The baby back ribs with burnt ends were AMAZING — tender, smoky, and packed with that rich BBQ flavor you crave.
Everything came out quick and fresh, and the staff was incredible — friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.
Quick, delicious, and definitely worth coming back for!

Great BBQ joint. I don’t know how many times I drove by this place not knowing was I was missing on my way to North Conway area. I got the sampler. It had pulled pork, 1/4 chicken, baby back ribs, brisket, fries, coleslaw and baked beans and garlic toast. I think the brisket was the best of the meats, super tender and moist. The baked beans had nice chunks of pork, the fries were hot and crunchy. This will definitely be a stop on future trips. Prices are definitely fair.

Decided to try Yankee Smokehouse again. Ive heard mixed reviews and I heard it was under new management. Do decided to try for myself.
Clean restaurant. Waitress was friendly. All in party enjoyed their meals. Haddock dinner was good. Brisket and Ribs very good. Cooked perfectly. Mac and cheese very creamy. Corn bread is excellent. Pulled pork, chicken salad sandwich and grilled chicken sandwiches all devoured by the teens. Glad we came back.

We arrived here in the middle of the day on our stay at a nearby Airbnb. They have a lot of smokehouse options. What stole the show was the cornbread. This cornbread was so insanely good, it must have been the best I’ve ever had. It’s worth visiting just for it. We had like 7-8 people in our party and they seated/served us swiftly.

Stopped at the hotel across the road after a 14hr day at work hungry and i wasnt sure what to expect but glad I got the pizza, definitely going to order another one soon when im in the area for work again. Big enough to fill me up without having to eat the whole pizza. An was just as good the next morning for a leftover breakfast.

A BBQ restaurant that you can dive your atv or snow mobile to for a quick bite. They have pulled pork and pizza here. I wished that there was more flavor to the pulled pork. I used a generous amount of barbecue sauce in the pork to flavor it up. Otherwise it’s not a bad place for a lunch

This place has gotten better vs like 6-8 years ago, something, or someone, improved in the kitchen. Serve Good pizza now too. Friendly service. Pretty expensive though, which is why I gave 3.5 stars vs 4, but what do you expect, guess its a tourist town now

We’ve been getting carry-out here for years. I’ve lived in the South, and I have pretty high standards when it comes to barbeque. This place is legit. Meats are always perfectly prepared, and the cornbread with maple butter is amazing. In addition to all things BBQ, they make phenomenal pizzas! My favorite is the “pulled pig”. It combines their amazing pulled pork and sauce with a great pizza.
Over the years, we’ve gotten at least a hundred meals here, and we’ve NEVER been disappointed.
They have great options for people with Celiac’s, too!

Our visit was in October 2023 – just remembered I forget to review at the time.
We were a party of ten hungry people having spent our day hiking the white mountains when we decided to stop for some food on our way back to the NH/MA border. The place we would normally choose didn’t have space for us so a quick call was made to Yankee Smokehouse to see if they could fit us in. If we could wait thirty-minutes, they told us a table of ten was just leaving and it was ours as soon as they had gone.
I don’t think I have ever been more grateful to a party of people than I was to those leaving, for her they not been I would have missed out on one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.
Obviously being from the UK visiting we are always a slight novelty to people and that’s fine, we’re used it and really quite enjoy the attention. We were with our born-and-bred US family as well who ordered some cornbread. We’d never had it before; we will certainly be eating again, and one of my cousins said it was the best she had ever tasted – praise indeed as she herself is an excellent cook.
One of my cousins and I chatted about whether to share a sampler-for-one before deciding they were for one anyway, and we were hungry. OH MY GOODNESS. I have never seen so much food on one plate, every single piece of it as delicious as the last. I managed to eat about a third of mine whilst there, but you can bet your last $ I took the rest home and ate it for breakfast (and lunch) the following day. I am a real meat lover and every bite of those ribs, the pork, the chicken and brisket was divine.
I am sure between us we had at least one item from the menu and not one of us had a bad word to say about it either.
As for the staff, they were amazing. Friendly, welcoming and warming. Makes me want to travel back to eat it all again.

We had a friendly server but honestly the food and environment were just average. The food was basically something I could’ve cooked at home for less money and a half decent recipe. I do not mean this to be rude just that we went in really excited and left thinking we should’ve just stayed home and cooked something.
With that said, the cornbread and butter are amazing! But I had the ribs and chicken dinner and my partner had the brisket with all the sides and although we got enough for leftovers, we’ll have to “doctor it up” before we eat the leftovers even.
Maybe it’s because we’re from the south, but we had a different expectation of what a good smokehouse would be…
The only thing I can truthfully recommend is the cornbread. Ours was delicious.
