Food is amazing! The best goat pepper I had! Snapper was scrumptious! First time ever having oxtail soup and don’t know how I have lived without it. We also had the chicken empanadas but wasn’t able to get a picture before we dug in. They were so good! Drinks are amazing! I highly recommend the Lemon Sip! The Royal Flush and Sideways Baobab were also delicious. Wonderful service!

The food arrived cold. The chicken was burned, unseasoned, and appeared to be very low-quality cuts with barely any meat on the bones. The Egusi was the worst I’ve ever had, and the fufu was also served cold. Nothing tasted fresh or properly prepared.

The service made the experience worse. Staff repeatedly checked on other tables but never once came to ask how we were doing. The attitude made it feel as though we were inconveniencing them. It was noticeable that certain groups of customers were given more attention and care than others, which did not feel welcoming or professional. The female staff were mean including the owner her husband older white male was the only nice person only communicate with him if you encounter a problem.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

I’ve heard so much about Calabash from friends and I finally got to go over the weekend! What an amazing experience! From the time we sat down, we were greeted with smiles and love like we were at home with family! Our primary server Nyla was AMAZING – above and beyond in her kindness, service and just being an awesome human being. It was also wonderful to see the Manager Nene out on the floor and she was wonderful, sitting down to speak with us.

Now, on to the food and drinks. The Senegambian Iced Tea mixed with the Ginger Pineapple was top notch (thanks for the rec Nyla). I had the Yassa Red Snapper (grilled) with plantain and my friend the lamb and jollof which were also delish!

Highly recommended! I can’t wait to go back!

If I could give ten stars, I would. Everything was phenomenal, from the service to the food. Our server, Nyla was beyond amazing as she provided some helpful information about some of the menu items and made some excellent recommendations. The Oxtail stew was so flavorful, and it was so good, that I was scraping the bowl after I was finished. This is needs to be on everyone’s LV bucket list.

We heard about this restaurant through a show we saw in Chicago. We travel to Vegas often my mother used to live there. We decided we would tour it when we visit. Customer service was great food was tasty prices were reasonable. Restaurant was clean and sanitized. Come enjoy West African dishes prepared with incredible taste. Beautiful setting to dine the music was moving and energetic. Located on Rainbow and Oakey give these sisters the opportunity to share there culture with you.

Delicious West African food. Well seasoned and flavorful. We had meatpies, the jollof with chicken, attieke with fish and oxtail with rice and I have nothing bad to say about any of them. The two cons is the wait time for the food to be served; but the wait is worth it for sure. Also the food is pretty pricey.

My Nigerian husband and I visit Vegas quite a lot for work and have been on the hunt for a Nigerian spot. Our search is over! The egusi was FANTASTIC and the service was even better. Afrobeats playing, Nigerian beer and good vibes. Will be back for sure

This was such a great experience! It was my daughter’s first time and she ordered the egusi, I ordered the red pepper stew with beef and fufu on the side. Food was incredible and the staff was so warm and welcoming! 10/10 experience, will definitely come back!

My experience at calabash was 8/10
The food was good and the service was really good too. I went there with my friends that come from Swiss for a work conference and they loved all the food. The only thing for me they sells empty jellof rice for $21 and sell meats separately $8 or so while on the menu they are vegetables and fish or meat but when it served it some how different. Too pricey. I recommend this place. Have lots of money in the bank lol
