1st time stopping by here, we live in BP. It was a great experience, the wait staff was very good and checked on us regularly. You can tell it has its regulars but we didn’t feel out of place, prices very good, food good. We plan to go back.

What an amazing place to go to. My husband and I had a small group after 930pm. for dinner. The kitchen had already closed, but the friendly waitress went out of her way to accommodate us. The food was fantastic. Loved the staff here. They were great with the customers. The portion was great. Must try their chicken wings, tacos, and Mac & Cheese. Loved it here. We will be coming back soon!

The tavern is on the smaller side but customers keep piling in. The regulars are called out by name as soon as they walk in but if you’re a new customer you’re standing there lost and waiting. No signage or anyone to greet you.

After 10 min of waiting at the main entrance, the bar staff yells over to just find a seat.

Family of 6 heads out to the patio to find a couple of empty tables next to each other. A friendly customer sees us and welcomes us right away and says you can put the tables together. He could clearly tell we were first timers.

As soon as we grab our tables to move them, waitress says, “leave the table where they are, You can’t move them together”. We nod, smile and sit at separate tables. The customer says to us we do it all the time and says not sure what’s wrong with her attitude. Another customer sees the kids struggling to put their umbrella up. She went over and tried to help set up the kids table umbrella but was unsuccessful. She sees another table that needed to be cleaned next to us. She goes and buss the table and cleans it out so our family can sit together. Once the table was cleaned the waitress walks over to collect the tip that was left on the table.

Menus and drinks were slow to come out. Once ordered, food came out quickly. Food was amazing. Some of the best food we’ve had.

The customers were friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was amazing and the tavern was nice and clean.

Service was horrible. Slow to greet you. Slow to refill your water. Slow to check up on you. Slow to close you out.

Worst thing is, they ran out of cups. We had to wait until they had cups to serve us water and soda. When we needed a refill, they would collect our cups to refill and bring it back. But that’s not the real issue, it’s that she tries to carry all 6 cups at once. Sticking her fingers inside the cups to carry them to refill. It’s 95 degrees in the blistering sun, you’re sweety, running around and hands are unclean.

If you want a piña coleada don’t come here, and my 50 year old companion got carded who looked older.

Reply to owner: I dropped my two stars to one because of your attitude. I didn’t choose this place for a Pina Colada, I just wanted to try one & google search led me here. Why ID Jimmy Buffet when so many other amazing dive bars don’t ID people who CLEARLY are old enough.

Most “dive” bars don’t typically call themselves a dive bar, dont allow children, & don’t close before 2am. No wonder you don’t have 5 stars, & you treat 1 star reviewers with attitude, instead of trying to gain consumers back! Most owners like constructive feedback to improve, sometimes offer a discount of some sort, instead of reading their other reviews & going off. The reply to the customer with cats, was inappropriate for the “owner!” If you have time on your hands to read other reviews of over 1000 customers, maybe use that time to try and improve instead of unprofessional responses. FYI all bars, dive or not, serve “real” drinks.

Had a great experience at The Well Sports Tavern. The Won Ton Burger was outstanding—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a unique twist that really stood out. Paired it with a cup of soup, which was warm, comforting, and hit the spot, and a cold beer that complemented the meal perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy good food and drinks. Definitely a spot I’d return to and recommend to others. I’ll be returning again!

We’ve been visiting The Well on the regular for many years now – like maybe 6? It’s our Cheers. The food hits the spot 99% of the time, and for that 1%, the staff will always make it right (if you’re not a dick about it). The drinks are solid and strong. Went in tonight – a random Tuesday – to grab a quick bite and a couple of our favorites were working, Brandis and Sheila. Both just a terrific combo of fantastic service, smarta$$ comments, and a ton of laughs. We always end up saying “Ok, just one more” and then before you know it, it’s past our bedtime. And yet I can’t be mad about it – the belly laughs with the staff (especially these two) is always worth it. 5/5 stars highly recommend

This inconspicuous little spot impressed me! It has a huge menu full of food that I have found to be shockingly delicious. Massive wings! Both smash burgers and 1/2 lb burgers. Sunfish sliders?! Yes, and they’re great. I don’t know who’s running the kitchen, but they’re very good at it!

A solid array of taps, friendly bartenders, a cozy space with sports on the screens, smiling patrons… Tonight the place was full yet my waitress (Hailey, I believe) hustled nonstop so that there was never a delay in drinks, food, or checking out. Super impressive, and super enjoyable. (Repeat: the food is way above average!)

Just reading the reviews and the owners/managers response. I wouldn’t eat at a place where the owner disrespects his customers like this person does. Normally, owners want their customers happy so they come back. But this person sounds like a bit of a jerk after reading the responses. Be respectful of your customers. Even the lady who claimed there were feathers in her food.

Thank you for your rude response. Case and point! Good luck with all that.

The food here was surprisingly good! Burgers weren’t over-cooked and a plethora of craft beer choices. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Sports on the TVs for all of you fans! I went for the beer and burger. It’s obviously a neighborhood favorite! Lots of regulars
