We used to eat there, but you could really call it a restaurant because we ordered a dish without vegetables, and they immediately brought it with vegetables. The waitress said the kitchen doesn’t make changes once the dishes are out. There was no apology or discount. I just paid for the food minus the tip. The last time we went back, the waitress complained because she said she took the money out of her pocket. I told her how could I tip for such bad service, and it wasn’t even her, it was another waitress. She wouldn’t even face us when we paid, and then she told us we hadn’t paid again and said we owed 25 cents that day. I forgot to ask to speak to the owner so he could check the security camera footage . In my opinion, they’re taking advantage of people who don’t know or who think tipping is mandatory, which it isn’t. Tips are earned, not forced. That’s what they’re paid for. They earn a salary, and if they can’t afford it, they should find another job. They shouldn’t force us to tip when the service isn’t 100%. The worst part is, my brother came back today to eat a baleada, and the waitress told him she wasn’t going to serve him because he can’t pay even though he can and it was only himself. They reminded him it was months ago, and I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but today they did. From what I could tell, they serve those who drink alcohol immediately because they know they can make money off them. Waitresses, you should serve everyone equally because nobody goes there to eat for free, and you should earn your tips. Give better service! Start cleaning that place; it smells dirty, and there are a lot of mosquito. They don’t come because the place is clean, but because it smells dirty. If it’s like that in the dining room, imagine what it’s like in the kitchen! It doesn’t matter if the food is excellent; if the service is bad, who wants to come back like that no body!!

I ordered the super baleada con carne asada and got this.. I’m so disappointed. I can’t seem to find good food from my culture anywhere.

From the very first bite, my son and I were both like, “It’s Delicious!” The food is absolutely amazing, bursting with wonderful flavors! Thanks a bunch! Visiting from LA. We need one like this.

We went to this restaurant for the first time and the Seafood Soup was amazing! The bowl is huge and it may be a bit too much for 1 person only, but I loved that there was a huge variety of seafood on the soup. The staff is friendly and the place was clean. I really liked the experience.

I was disappointed to find that a tip was added to my bill without my knowledge. When I politely tried to clarify this with the waitress, she was surprisingly rude and dismissive. I understand if gratuity is included automatically, but it should be clearly communicated upfront. Transparency and respectful customer service go a long way, and unfortunately, both were lacking during my visit. She did end up removing the tip from the receipt, but because of the way the situation was handled, I chose not to leave one. It’s important for restaurants to be transparent about charges and to treat customers with basic courtesy. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience here. Make sure you ask for a full breakdown of your receipt before paying!

I gave them a second chance and they did very well the second time. I hope it stays this way. And the staff apologized. Glad they have amazing delicious food.

I ordered a pollo con tajadas , it was horrible got a huge piece of chicken that look like turkey leg size all burnt out with soggy banana fried ships with tons of dressing that look like dressing soup , also got a beef soup , got a dark broth with mostly carrots and old squash I think they reuse all the veggies from previous days horrible ,not fresh at all . I’d never ever buy from this store ever . Stay away from this place

Delicious! I don’t know what actual Hondurans think of it, but this was the best Honduran food this Chicanx has ever had the privilege of eating. The “carne asada” and “pescado al estilo lago yohoa” plates were delicious. The rice and beans were unique and delicious. That the servers spoke Spanish first is a HUGE plus for me
