My wife actually bought the glazed beignets, I so wanted to try them today but I was loosing the battle that day with my Diabetes, so no sugar for me. The customer service was good, a little of a line to order but the goods came out quick. They looked and smelled great, the building is in a good location and the parking was in and out. I will be cak for my warm delights.

The glazed beignets were pretty good, but the place is chaotic and unorganized. You place your order inside then have to wait outside of the actual business. There you wait for someone to walk your order out to you,but it looks like they wait until a bunch of orders are ready so they can bring out multiple orders…on one tray. Also please keep your ticket with the order number on it because you wont get that order without it.
Also avoid the morning rush if you can

The glazed beignets’ texture was perfection. Each bite was incredibly moist. It practically melts in our mouth. I’ve been 3 times. The first time the line was out the door, the 2nd time I arrived 10 minutes after they had opened, and 3rd I had to wait for the glazed beignets and it’s was worth it. This is a bakery and the goal is to get you your order. The customer service is task oriented.

After eating beignets from multiple eateries in New Orleans, Antoine’s Famous was not on our original list of places to stop, but glazed beignets popped up as we were leaving NOLA. So glad we stopped, best beignets ever! I have had beignets all over. They melt in your mouth. Parking lot is small. The glazed beignets are popular so be ready to wait a few minutes. You can wait in your car, they call your number over a loud speaker outside. We regret we didnt order more to take home.

I had a King Cake shipped to Missouri for my sweet Louisiana made husband. It was DELICIOUS and he about passed out from excitement. It was perfectly packed and arrived right on time. It even came with a little Mardi Gras themed cup and BEADS! Absolutely will be shipping one again next year. Thank you!

I’ll start by saying I take partial responsibility for what happened. On Thursday, January 29th, I went to Antoine’s in Gretna to purchase my own king cake and, as I’ve done in years past, ordered one to be shipped to family in Tennessee as well. My total for the shipped king cake came to $72.98. I was about to ring everything up together, but the associate who helped me that day suggested ringing them separately, so I did. I was told the next shipping date would be Monday, February 2nd and I agreed to that.

Unfortunately, the king cake was never delivered.

When I returned to Antoine’s to follow up on Feb. 10th, there was no trace of my order in the system. I was honestly baffled. I even showed a screenshot of my credit card transaction so the associate who was helping me wouldn’t think I was being dishonest. She took my information and checked several times, but there was no record of my order. I’ll admit, it didn’t help that I accidentally threw away my receipt and didn’t take a picture of the paperwork I filled out — lesson learned!

I’m truly disappointed to be out that amount of money. While I understand it’s an extremely busy season, it would have been nice if someone from management had come out to speak with me.

That said, I have to commend the young lady who assisted me. She was kind, patient, and professional. I genuinely felt that she believed me and sympathized with my situation, even though she wasn’t able to resolve it. Positive customer service goes a long way, and she handled a frustrating situation with grace. To her, I say THANK YOU!

There were definitely lessons learned here…I’ll be holding onto my receipts from now on! And perhaps during such a busy season, a closer look at order tracking could help prevent situations like this. It was so busy that day, I can’t help but wonder if my order was simply misplaced or never entered. I even wanted to say “roll back the cameras” because I know I was there!

Hopefully, I’ll have better luck next year. And to that kind associate, thank you and keep being you because kindness will take you places!

For the home of one of the best king cakes ( the queen cake) they sure do know how to turn away customers. Went in there to buy two cakes for a total of probably 80 dollars and was told we aren’t selling. Wholesale orders only and that I could come back later to see if there were any left. And the best part was the store had a line of people trying to buy king cakes. Some things are not worth the trouble.

We waited in line for 45 minutes to purchase 2 King cakes ($55) because this place was highly recommended. When we got back to Florida we discovered there were no babies in either of them. Needless to say the kids were very upset that’s the fun about king cake

If you’re looking for a sweet potato pie, you should try Antoine’s in Gretna! It’s not the sweet potato pie that I’m accustomed to as far as how it’s prepared (based on how it look), baked, and the taste but it’s close enough. The customer service is always top tier! It’s inexpensive, to me and meets my need for the most part! I don’t live on the West Bank so it would be nice if they answer the phone before I drive ‘cross the river!! Reason being, two separate times that I went, it was closed! However, check them out!

Do not order anything that needs to be shipped!!!! They blame everyone but themselves for not shipping orders when promised. They expect me to serve a 6 day old product to people I work with. They refuse to accept responsibility for shipping late, they blamed ups to enforce their shipping clause. I called before it was shipped and asked to wait until the following monday and they assured me I would receive my cake in time. I didn’t and now I am out $85. They won’t even make things right by replacing said item. Will never do business with them again !!!!!!!!!
