Absolutely loved our dogs!
We had the Seattle dog & Chile dog with a side of delicious Chile cheese fries! Man! We will be back! Great customer service and quick quality dogs! It was a cold afternoon and they had a tent w/heater! Cozy! And a loyalty card! Amazing! So glad we found this hidden gem in Seattle:)

This is a great spot. Cheeseburgers are top notch, fries are perfect, milkshakes are incredible. My kid had a plain hot dog and ate the whole thing, so the hot dogs are awesome here as well. I talked to Matt and he’s a nice guy! 10/10 will return.

Tried the Chicago dog, chili dog, Seattle dog. The chili dog was probably my favorite, but I honestly wish these dogs are bigger and had punchier flavor.

The chili cheese fries were actually my favorite of everything. Lol

Nice spot to drop by and get a couple tasty hot dogs though.

The dude taking orders was super cool and patient. Offered to get is drink refills if we needed it too.

My fiance and I decided to try this place on a whim, and I’m so glad we did. I haven’t had a hot dog that tastes like that in DECADES. It brought me back to my childhood before hot dogs got over processed. It was so good.

Matt was super friendly, and it’s astounding how long this place has been in business. My only feedback would be more flavor in the chili (but I also come from a region where we season the heck out of chili, so that’s just my personal take).

The chili cheese fries were good, and overall atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend!

A hidden gem! Matt’s Hot Dogs have been around since 1992. Matt’s is located a converted home, tucked away in the more industrial part of the Georgetown neighborhood. Matt’s serves up hot dogs, hamburgers and fries. They are closed on the weekends, and open 10am – 8pm Monday through Friday. We found the prices to be reasonable and the variety great. I definitely appreciate a place that keeps the menu simple, but does really good food. The hubby has the double cheeseburger and the “Fire Dog” (Spicy Polish). I had the Seattle Dog and the Chicago Dog. We also had an order of the chili cheese fries. I tried the polish – I liked the spice level, but was not a fan of the softer texture. I really loved the snap of the beef hot dogs – which are Matt’s own recipe. The chili cheese fries were amazing! They had a nostalgic flavor that I can’t put my finger on. They have some bench seating under an awning, but no indoor seating. The service was quick and the staff super friendly. We will be back for sure!

This place rocks. Fast and friendly workers. Simple menu, everything except the drinks worth the price. Got the chili and Seattle dogs. Chili was maybe a little too greasy for my liking but it had the flavor, the Seattle had the cream cheese, fries were just like McDonald’s super cheap and tasty. Both dogs had a nice snap and I’m looking forward to trying the burgers

Man I hate to leave less than 4 stars but you’ve gotta give to feedback sometimes. Super friendly and efficient service. No problem there. The food was lacking. Both in portions and quality. It almost looks like they changed suppliers based on the pictures of past reviews. The burger and amount of fries were tiny for $17 but maybe that’s the reality of being a small business in 2026 Seattle. Would rather pay $25 for double the calories somewhere else or hit Pick Quick or Dicks. Gonna try them again tho and get a couple of chili dogs. Dine in portions do look bigger than takeout. But man I guess $17 is the new $7.

This gets 5 stars because of the snap on the dog, the quality of the chili, and the fact that Matt is actually really nice (not an idiot). The chili cheese fries actually maintained their crunch while we ate them. Would highly recommend to everyone that visits Seattle.

PS – Do not skip the slaw dog. It was our favorite

Matt’s is a burger and hot dog place right across from Katsu Burger on Marginal Way S. It’s easy to get to and has a good sized parking lot outside. No tables inside as it’s more of a counter to order, but they have a closed in area outside to eat which seats over a dozen people. Their menu isn’t that big, but prices are great for the portion sizes and the flavors are fantastic. They keep it simple and that’s what makes it great. The hot dogs have a snap to them and the burgers are juicy. The staff is awesome, including the owner Matt who is really funny and a blast to talk to. Overall this is a solid lunch spot and can get rushes from all the industrial places around, but food comes out quick to order.
