I tried the crispy chicken wrap and it was fine. The side salad was rather small but a nice option. Bone in wings were pretty good. Looks like a fun place to hang out. Pepsi products and pull tabs.

I stopped by Shakopee Bowl last night and left pretty confused.
The place has a cool atmosphere, and their cocktail menu is actually impressive—tons of creative options that made it fun to try a few different drinks. On paper, it looks like a great night out.
But here’s the part I can’t wrap my head around: I somehow spent around $60 on cocktails and didn’t even catch a buzz. Not even a little. At that point I started wondering if the alcohol was just listed on the menu for emotional support.
The live music also didn’t really add much to the experience, so between that and the drinks that seemed more decorative than effective, the night just didn’t live up to the bill.
That said, I’ll give five stars to the food—purely based on appearances. We didn’t order any, but the plates coming out of the kitchen looked impressive… kind of like the cocktail menu did.
Great atmosphere and lots of choices, but if the drinks actually contained the amount of alcohol the prices suggest, the experience might have been a lot better.
Beautiful menu, great vibe… but $60 later I left feeling like I’d just attended a very expensive hydration seminar.

Really enjoy this local spot. Family friendly, yummy bar food and good variety. We’ve now enjoyed the bowling and arcade several times and had great experiences! It would be awesome if they could get a few more very light little kid bowling balls but that’s just because this is a super fun and well suited spot for families!! The pizza is 12/10 in my opinion- so yummmy!

They have really updated this place! They added tons of arcade games as well as a volly ball court, baseball field and outside seating for dining. The employees were really friendly and helpful. We ordered a pizza and it got to us super quick even though the place was pretty busy and it was delicious! Really a fun place to hang out and bring the kids, or not haha. They’ve done a ton of work to this place and its a great time. They even added an ice cream bar!

Our server Amy was a gem, friendly and efficient. The Bonds chicken sandwich & fries were good. The DJ’s dry rub chicken wings were also good. Drinks are expensive, need to go during happy hour. We will be back.

Fun place. Standard bar food, won’t knock it. The group of 12 agreed thin crust was the way to go if you want pizza. Thin crust pizza fries were the winner. Drink prices were reasonable. Bowling was fun and service was good. We lingered and caught part of the band, holy cow was it loud. We moved as far back as we could and struggled to hold a conversation.

The ambiance of the establishment is quite pleasing. The bar area is well-designed, and the overall layout of the space is conducive to both relaxation and productivity. The interior design choices demonstrate a thoughtful and cohesive approach.

1-star directly because of the ridiculous “no water bottles” policy

* Water comes from moldy soda machine spout
* Only gave us a single water pitcher for family of 15 people bowling across 3 lanes
* Water was empty in first 5 minutes. Waitress never came back to refill water during entire 1 hour bowling session.

99% of other establishments (including bowling alleys) allow people to bring in their own water! My best guess is alcohol drinkers ruined this for people looking to simply bring their own water in. They probably hide liquor in water bottles and thus Shakopee Bowl makes a knee jerk decision which negatively impacts non-alcohol drinking customers.

I won’t come back in until this policy is reverted or fixed.
