I ordered takeout from Serious Texas Bar B Q and it was great. The smoked turkey was juicy and flavorful and the ribs were tender and delicious. I got coleslaw and potato salad as sides and both were fresh and tasty. Everything was well packed and still warm when I got home. Great BBQ and friendly service. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

As a Texan from tomball I can say do not sleep or pass up on this spot. Everything was delicious..I had the sausage plate and smoked wings. Everything was spot on. Their pinto beans are infused with brisket… That’s badass ! 9.5/10…. What would give this place a perfect 10… If y’all had fried okra on the menu . But seriously this place is delicious and decently priced for the portions . Will definitely return whenever I’m back in ft Collins

Should have known when it was 6pm dinner time in FOCO on a Saturday night and this place was empty, but we thought we would give them a try anyway… the potato salad is your Walmart special, the “cheesy potatoes” are a blob of hard as a rock chunks that must have been sitting there ALL DAY LONG! The brisket is basically shoe leather, the soles of my boots would be easier to chew, the BBQ Sauce in the bottle on the table is basically water… But Hey, the sweet tea was fine and the staff at the counter were happy and cheerful about not having to do anything except stand there!

Great local spot for BBQ. Turkey sandwich is my go-to and never disappoints. I’m from Texas and would definitely recommend this spot! The handwashing station is top notch as well!

Serious Texas Bar-B-Q has four stars, but to me, it felt more like a three. I decided to give it a try based on the name and was curious to see if it lived up to the hype. I had the brisket and spare ribs. The brisket was just okay—on the dry side and a bit lacking in flavor. The spare ribs were a little tough and overcooked for my taste.
The barbecue sauce was a miss for me. They had two options on the table, but neither really worked flavor-wise. On the bright side, they had self-serve sliced pickles that were actually great—nice crunch and flavor, and I appreciated that they were readily available with the condiments.
Overall, it’s not a bad spot, but it didn’t quite hit the mark. Not terrible by any means, but just not something I’d go out of my way for again.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly. I ordered the two-meat plate, which was generous enough for two people. The Apple Cobbler was outstanding.
Everything—from the tables to the restroom—was clean, neat, and well-organized. Overall, a fantastic experience. 10/10!

We were driving and noticed this place. We decided to give it a try since we were looking for a place to eat anyway. Upon entry, it felt like a pretty cool place. The prices seemed reasonable (especially for bbq), so we ordered. We fed our family of 5 for about $110 with beverages. The food was ready right as I paid, and we sat down to eat. It’s good to point out that this location doesn’t have seating for large groups to sit together (just and fyi). Most of the tables only allowed for 4 people. Regardless, we pulled up an extra chair and went to town. The food was warm, but it was pretty dry. I’m not a big sauce fan because if a protein is cooled right, it will provide its own special flavors. Anyway, the ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and sausage were dry. I also had an order or cheese potatoes, and they should he called pepper potatoes instead. Now, I’m not bashing the place. It wasn’t terrible, we ate our food, and it was pleasant.

We had serious Texas cater our wedding and it was amazing! Andy was so helpful and nice and patient when it came to helping us decide how much to get and what various options they had for delivery and setup and serving. They catered to our guests who had gluten and soy allergies as well which was a big relief! They came and set everything up for us so all we had to do was switch out pans when they were empty. The cost could not be beaten either!! We love serious Texas for regular dining, but having them cater our wedding was a great choice as well. Overall I would highly recommend them to anybody who is considering them for lunch, dinner, or any catering event!! 20 out of 10!!

Potato salad was a great side along with the beans.
Staff was excellent.
The unique hand washing station was a pretty cool experience.
