This could not have been a more perfect choice for our family lunch. 2 minutes from the nature reserve and a 1 minute block walk from the beach, it’s sitting in a prime location. I imagine they’re swarming with people in the summer, but it was perfectly calm when we went. They have a lot of seating, with a cozy bar where regulars were enjoying conversation over a drink.
The food was phenomenal. I got the Big Daddy wings as recommended by the server and they were easily some of the best wings I’ve ever had. The ribs were also tops, falling off the bone and succulent as ever.
Fabulous atmosphere, wonderful staff- we left there feeling like family.

They have an awesome beyond burger! We popped in for a late lunch after a beach day and were not disappointed. Sweet service, great beer, delicious burgers, yummy house-made sauces, & lovely outdoor seating, can’t ask for anything more. Pro tip: order the onion straws and put them in your burger

After a wonderful walk at the park, a friend and I stopped by for lunch. This was my first time here. The waitress was wonderful; I didn’t get her name, but she provided great service despite her boot [broken foot]. The outdoor patio has a nice vibe. I can only imagine how fun it is at night when the 2 fire pit takes are lit. The most important part is the food… well, the seasoning and flavor definitely delivers.
Unfortunately, the price point for the portions was imbalanced. Brisket had more fat than meat, so that was unappealing.

Honestly, if you’re looking for a place to watch sports that serves as a watering hole for the local middle aged regulars, this is as good as any other. If you’re looking for food and atmosphere? Go literally anywhere else.
In addition to the dipping sauces that accompanied the appetizer we ordered having a handwritten date from 2 weeks ago on the lid, to the beef and cheddar sandwich that was bone dry (absolutely no sauce on the sandwich, just beef and cheddar and bread), to the abysmal service, this appears to be a locals only bar for drinkers and sports watchers. The mac and cheese was cold, bland, and mushy – such an easy side dish to get right when you actually care about the food you serve.
Unless you’re into sports with loud cheers and jeers from the fans crowding the bar area to watch, waitresses who spend more time talking to their local regular drinkers then checking on any table they have, and food that only seems to serve as a legal requirement to appease the state laws for establishments that serve drinks; spend your hard earned money elsewhere. There’s plenty of other restaurants within a stones throw.

We came due to a recommendation by a friend and as a result we can truly confirm that this place is a must If your are in the area. We Had great food and because it was early afternoon, of course there were only a few guests. However, one felt the great vibe the place likely develops when it’s full in the evening.

I had dry rub ranch chicken wings! They had very little flavor. I couldn’t taste any ranch flavoring. It only tasted better with ranch dressing. The food is ok but they did have a great band so it was fun dancing to their band. Great for entertainment not food!

Unfortunately didn’t get the waitresses name, but she was so sweet and helpful the food was good and delish, strongly recommend the crab soup and the nachos! But… ‼️Make sure you watch your step near the restrooms‼️

Thursday Night is Prime Rib night.
we sailed in around 5:30………Mushroom app + steakbites, some red vino and white. we decided on prime rib x 2, pulled pork plate and smoked chicken……dessert was rum cake.
we did not know that this thursday night lewis mcgee was playing live……..we had a great time and great food all around, see us back again soon.
Back again april 20th for Prime once more. chris got 1/2 rack if ribs, i got the prime, but it was super thin, so thin the server had them add one more slice which made it about the same thickness as the first time, it was outstanding, but was even more outstanding was the second app. we ordered, first was fried mushrooms and we see fried catfish bites…O M G. These rate within the top 5 BEST FRIED FISH i have ever had, big serving, fried perfect, nice chunking pieces……..my next dinner will be 2 orders of these ……..red wine also……..rum cake and coffee.

Food is good, why is there an ant infestation right by the booths? Absolutely unacceptable and nasty to eat next to, told the manger only response I got was “interesting”, I was very respectful when telling her, they didn’t seem that shocked
