Great restaurant to have a burger, the fries were good as well. Excellent service from the waitress! Ordered the big 2 1/2 lb burger patties, received 2 1/4 lb burger patties instead, but was full from the fries and declined to ask the cook to correct his mistake. Cool decorating inside, lots of fun little signs that make you giggle. This restaurant did not appear to be handicapped accessible for their entranceways or bathrooms.

Local breakfast spot serving great food quickly. Stopped by for a quick bite before golf and had coffee and tasty rasin toast. Friendly and efficient staff. Food looked great that others were eating. Certainly worth a visit.

I had breakfast here on my way north and it was good. French toast was delicious. Service was nice and I loved all the signs with different sayings and slogans on them. Very entertaining. The sausage links were good butt the sausage patties were dry and bland. Overall a nice dining experience. Probably will stop in again sometime.

Ordered take out. 4 baskets. They forgot salad. I should of checked. Deep fried food is greasy, but these cod baskets are dripping in grease.. Fries taste like straight up deep fry oil… Place wasn’t busy when we picked up. There was 1 table..

I used to love this restaurant. Great food nice atmosphere, friendly service until they started adding 20% automatic tip to the bill. I always tipped 20% but three times I ended up tipping over 40%. I didn’t see any notifications in the menu or at the register.
I won’t be going back.

I got the backwoods breakfast:
The ham was good a bit on the tough side but seasoned well
The eggs were bland as were the hashbrowns.
The hashbrowns had a mushy quality I didn’t like.
Girlfriends bland eggs were on the verge of being scrambled
Mushy hashbrowns
Her low quality steak wasn’t cooked right but it was well seasoned.
The whole place was cute and quirky, but on the cramped side, the men’s bathroom was broom closet sized, not fluffy friendly!
OVER ALL: it was a good place, I loved the GREAT service.

One of our go to’s. Snall town diner with good food and fair prices. Can get pretty busy at times, because it is on the smaller side. But if you are in town, give them a visit.

This is our go-to place for breakfast every time we stay in Harrison. I have 3 of their coffee cups in my cupboard (green, white and yellow). At the end of the day this is a small-town diner, so you’re going to get that “community” feeling when you sit down to eat, which we love. The waitresses are always there to fill your coffee cup with a smile. I wish I could’ve given the food a higher score….but this morning the hash browns were WAY more crispy than they should’ve been. Everything else was cooked just right though.

I came through Harrison a while ago with some friends, and we decided so give Jackpines a try. My experience here was…. Meh. Waitresses were quick, stressed and terse, and not the jovial, happiness you come to expect from a dinner. The food was decent helpings, but very blah, and tasteless. I loved the small, cozzy atmosphere but the service and breakfasts menu were lacking. Doubt I would ever return.

Jackpine catered my son’s wedding reception, rather last minute. The communication, customer service, planning, delivery & pickup – all excellent. The food itself all delicious, the guests loved the taco bar that was plentiful, hot, fresh, and contained more variety of toppings than I would have thought of. We appreciated it all very much.
