If you’re looking for the BEST whole belly clams around, look no further! From the very first bite, I knew this place was something special and draws me to come back always. The batter was light, crisp, and had a subtle sweetness that let the fresh clams shine through absolutely delicious. Every bite was perfection, and worth every single cent.I didn’t get the fries .
On top of the amazing food, what truly makes this spot stand out is the heart behind it. The wonderful lady who runs it, along with her hardworking crew, make you feel welcome the moment you arrive.
A rare gem where quality, flavor, and genuine hospitality come together. Can’t wait to come back for the soups .

Was recommended this place by a hotel employee that told us if we wanted to go kind of in the middle of nowhere to go here and lucky for us we love random drives! This is a little treasure and the lobster roll BANGED!!! Also got lobster cakes, clam cakes and chicken tender basket for 1 of my non-seafood eating kids (like what?) but really, the warm lobster with butter was sooo good and not everyone has this on their menu anymore so please keep it! Portions are generous and we ordered way too much food. Order came to maybe $110 for 4 people (3 of these were HUGE, very well priced lobster rolls) and we ate outside on the picnic tables. They have an extensive ice cream menu, too. We will absolutely return! Would love to come for a cruise night or Jeep day one time. What a cool, little place with a retro vibe!

The footlong hotdog was OK. We weren’t fans of the kettle chips. Also, the bag is huge, so one bag is enough for two people. We got two bags, so they were wasted. I wish the stools had foot rests—they don’t. Shorties have to partially stand. I loved the tuna melt! Service was good. The place is clean and has a neat atmosphere. We would love to go back and try their seafood.

Back for the first time this summer and feeling like we came on an “off” day. Maybe someone new in the kitchen because the food wasn’t up to their usual standards which are high. I ordered the clan cakes and chowder. Chowder was delicious, but clam cakes were undercooked lacking that crunchy exterior you can typically rely on here. They were greasy as if the oil wasn’t up to proper temp. Hubby ordered the chili cheese dog and an orange freeze. Chili now has beans (why?) and the dog was a mess, but the orange freeze was delightful on a hot summer day. Counter staff was wonderful, as always. They really do hire amazing young people here. Friendly and helpful. The parking is abundant and there are plenty of places outside to enjoy your meal as well as a few stools at the counter inside. Overall, gonna give the food a 3 this time around, but everything else gets 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back and hope the issues with food this visit were just a fluke. Still would recommend to anyone looking for a nice little local spot serving fresh seafood, burgers and hot dogs.

Great spot for delicious food with a nostalgic twist!
Having been craving a simple cheeseburger similar to that of Old McDonalds style or Dicks Burgers in Washington State, just the smell of this place driving brought me in.
Boasting quite the menu beyond just flat-topped burgers, shakes, and fries they carry so many different types of things you really can’t go wrong for the picky eaters or the foodie. They have salads, wraps, sandwiches, fresh seafood, and sweet treats like ice cream.
The “StarBurger w/ Cheese” was my first choice and led me to the promised land of Flavortown. After that I had to try the Linguica roll and that was delectable and simple. Smashing some chili fries next to that brought it all home and I’m now hooked on this place. The steak sandwich on a hoagie roll was OK, tasty, but not worth the price like the other items I’ve loved.
The staff is friendly and efficient, and the place look relatively clean for a place that’s been around for ages.
If you need a quick lunch, a unique dinner, or to cure a sweet tooth this is the place to go for sure! Get there and maybe we can share some French fries!

All the food here is awesome. The seafood is always fresh. Reliable service. We’ve gone here for years, a hometown childhood memory that continues to live up to its name. Always more than satisfied with burgers, sandwiches, fish, Lime-Rickey’s, and ice cream. We look forward to the movie nights every summer.

I love star so much. My fav is the tuna roll and fries then a nice ice cream to cap off the night. These guys are a pillar of the community they’re turning out good food and also paying attention to what’s happening in the surrounding towns and helping out however they can.
The food is great never had a bad meal. Awesome soup.

Worst lobster roll I’ve ever had in my life. Tasted like eating chalk and the lobster was frozen from last year. 30.00 eating a literal particular board. Also was served with frozen French fries. McDonald’s served better lobster rolls. IFYKYK

We love going here for a family night out. Food is always made fresh to how we order. Food is hot when served but wait time is minimal. The kids love all the different choices of ice cream to finish the night!
