Panera Bread on the hill is always a reliable stop. The location is clean, well organized, and the staff usually keeps things moving even during busy hours. The food quality is consistent with what you expect from Panera—fresh sandwiches, soups, and baked goods that hit the spot when you want something quick but still decent quality. The dining area is comfortable and well maintained, making it a nice place to sit down for a coffee or a casual lunch. Overall a solid location that represents the brand well.

We ordered a pick 2 with a Casear salad and Mac/Cheese and another Caesar with Broccoli Soup. The Mac/Cheese for $6.89 was about 3 tablespoons and the Broccoli Soup was served in a small side to go paper cup. They charged for 2 waters for the price of 2 soft drinks $3.89 each. The soup was cold. The total bill was $47.00. Asked cashier why are you charging for water ? She refunded it. Then asked management if this small cup and Mac was appropriate pricing of $6.89 each. Her reply was the small dishes broke. I actually told her that you just lost a long time customer….Never again…I could’ve gone to a nice upscale restaurant for those lunch prices and enjoyed it better. Too Expensive and Not Worth It !!!!!

Only reason they get a 2 is because the manager I spoke to was very pleasant & listened to my complaint. I used to work as a trainer for this location a few years ago & even then they struggled to have a good crew & even good quality control. But the last 4 times I’ve come to this location it’s just completely went to garbage. Workers don’t wanna be there, don’t wanna work & it shows in the quality of food they put out & the emotionless interactions.
Drive thru lines at the time I went would have normally been atleast 8 cars deep when I worked there. I was the only one in the drive thru line & my order was still disgusting. Why are you guys putting out wilted, brown romaine lettuce? Why are all of your apples bruised? Why when I ordered a water I always have to remind them at the window? If something looks like you wouldn’t eat it yourself or serve it to your momma then throw it away because this is the stuff that gets people sick. Do better Allen Park Panera

They should have better takeaway cups; I always spill my coffee on the cups they have. It’s happened to me several times; they’re too flimsy. These cups should be better for safety.

The atmosphere was very nice, the service was great, and the food was delicious. I loved the Italiano sandwich and the Bacon Turkey Bravo, along with a really good coffee and the pecan braid. I definitely want to go back and try the soup with a sandwich using the “You Pick Two” option.

Really relaxed place to grab a bite to eat if you don’t mind the state of the lobby. Not the cleanest restaurant, which makes me concerned about the state of their kitchen. Service is really a hit or miss regarding speed. First time I was delighted and didn’t mind the dirty aprons pilling up in the back drive thru or random bagels strewn by their exit door. Second time the service was timely but unfortunately tasted very artificial.

Everything tasted fresh and comforting. Atmosphere was calm and perfect for a quick lunch or even just to sit with a book. The service could’ve been better; staff seemed a bit distracted, but nothing too bad.

Had avocado toast and it looks and tastes fake. Not like fresh ingredients. What happened to Panera? Used to be a place you could get “real” food. Yuck!

Linda was an enthusiastic and detailed order taker. While I was waiting the manager asked me how I was doing. Super friendly staff and sandwich made correctly. I like mine with Country Rustic instead of that loaf of focaccia they try to give you. Great experience!

We got drive thru, two Greek salads, one with chicken, broccoli cheddar soup, and a toasted garden caprese sandwich. Got home to find that the lettuce in the salads was brown in lots of places and mostly made up of pieces you’d throw away. The lettuce in the sandwich was more of the same, not a green leaf in sight, no balsamic that I could see or taste, and wilted basil. The soup was the only thing that matched its picture/description. So much for “quality ingredients.”
