I tried today for the first time, it was just okay. The steak did not have much flavor and the bun was very soft. I wasn’t aware you had to ask for it toasted. The food twas fresh and ready on time.

Great spot!
I grabbed the FIRECRACKER PHILLY Steak today—the quality of the ingredients was top-notch.
On top of that, the service was incredibly efficient; I was in and out for lunch in less than 30 minutes, and the sandwich was excellent.

Some of the best subs in the city. Personally would recommend the hot turkey sub. Bread is always fresh and high quality and I find myself coming back here often.

First time eating at Ricky’s. I had ordered a Philly steak and cheese 16oz sub. Bread was fresh. The steak was a little salty. Got a bottled soda, and it was in business. The restaurant was clean, not dirty. Prices were a little high, but it was well worth it, except for the Sslt. I will return and maybe try a different sub.

Wow! Can’t believe this gem was under an hour from us all this time! My husband and I ventured to Ricky’s sub shop on a dreary Friday that he happened to have off. It was well worth the detour! Friendly service greeted us with an interesting conversation about the history and suggestions from our chef for the afternoon. We ordered an OG Philly cheesesteak and a Chicken Philly, one with regular fries and the other Cajun. This gave us the opportunity to try both of the favorites! They did not disappoint! Not one for taking pictures of my food, I regretted not taking a picture this time! It was better looking than the pictures that adorned the windows and one bite in explains why so many flock there. Thank you for the outstanding lunch, and amazing hospitality. We will be back dragging our adult children in tow next time!

Perfect sub. No notes.
The corned beef, the bread, the cheese, THE COOKIES, all perfect.
Even on a 20 minute drive home, the bread and fries and NOT SOGGY, it’s amazing.
Went for the first time in December, and we’ve already been 4 more times.
Love them.
Try them if you’re on the fence!

Terrible experience at Ricky’s lately. I came back for the food as I remember I used to go years ago and enjoyed the subs. Not sure what’s changed recently but my husband went in to pick up our order and the staff were so rude! Worst part is I’m pretty sure it was the owner himself helping my husband. Now I remember why I haven’t been back in years, probably won’t be back for a more.

We’ve been here twice and both times found a nice, clean, inviting restaurant. We were helped promptly and the wait wasn’t long. Our food arrived piping hot and exactly as we ordered it. The serving were more than enough for two meals. We will be back again!

We ordered carry-out. The guy taking our order was pretty cool. When we first got there there was only one other person there but RIGHT AFTER we got there that place filled up QUICK!
All of the food there we ordered was very good and we ordered a lot. The only thing I don’t care for here are their fries. Other than that everything else was the bomb!
Their subs are HUGE if you get a “whole.” It’s also quite expensive too but I feel like it’s worth it for what you get. All of their subs comes with “everything on it” except for the original which only has meat, grilled onions and squeeze cheese.
The dining area looks pretty big from what I saw. They have a fountain machine in the dining area if you need to refill your drink. As much as I like Lefty’s I would DEFINITELY take this place over it!
