My first time at Zen Thai. I specifically searched online menus for chicken dumpling soup. It’s my favorite but many just fall short of expectations. The description sounded perfect so I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. I had the Thai Dumpling app and Wonton soup, described as seasoned minced chicken wrapped in wonton; served in clear chicken broth and topped with scallion and cilantro. This soup is brilliant in its simplicity. Comforting broth with deep flavor and beautifully spiced (flavorful not hot) chicken wontons. My app was equally delicious. The sauce served with the Thai dumplings was a perfect compliment of spices. Additionally, the service was delightful. Pleasant and timely goes a long way to a great experience. Lastly, the atmosphere is terrific. Modern with a touch of elegance. Highly recommend.

Wife and I came for lunch for her birthday. Just recently moved to the area and was looking for a Thai place we could compare to what we had back in Knoxville. Zen Thai was a great choice to compare it too! Great customer service, great atmosphere, and the food…….BOMB!!!!!!!! Food was absolutely fresh, hot and from order to table in less than 3 minutes!! Will definitely be back for more lunch dates.

My husband and I went here and had an amazing time. I had been before with family and knew what orders I liked: crab rangoon app, potsticker app, and a California roll! A great selection of sample sized bites that really fill you up quickly. (All food in pics below).
My husband had never been here though and asked our server Jimmy about what to order. He asked for a light-to-semi-spicy dishe that was a favorite of the staff or most customers. Jimmy suggested a few really yummy sounding dishes and my husband ended up going with the Tom Yum soup. He really liked it! I got to try a bite and it was delicious. I hadn’t had squid in a while and had never tried fishballs before!
We had a lovely time. Not too noisy here, peaceful atmosphere, plants and fish and nice decorations. Jimmy was a great server – his suggestions were really thoughtful and he was really funny too!! Honestly, I don’t run into staff who try to have a good time with their customers much, so it was great to have him as our server.
Come try Zen! It’s a great spot with delicious food. 🙂 10/10!

The decor and ambiance is great. Thai tea is chef’s kiss. I loved my pad Thai, but even a level 3 didn’t register as spicy for me. Maybe should have gotten a 4 or they went too easy on me. Service is really good. I’m glad we went here.

We went to ZEN to celebrate my brother-in-law’s birthday, and it was our first time there. Our waiter, Mat, was excellent, he had such a great personality and provided outstanding customer service.

Great transition for the location to a Thai Japanese spot. The service first of all is great, you don’t need them much unlike other locations but they are all over it. The food is rich and well priced, the decor is good although could be nicer but that is for year two or three. All in all a solid menu with accurate flavors as opposed to the King & I’s weird takes. The Pad Thai is a bit heavy on nut flavor but that is a nit pick. All in all just have a bit more fun with the specials so people have something different to return for and add some light music or more decor and if the entire menu is as good as the first visit it is a great addition to the area.

Food was always hot and quick. Ordered the Chicken Katzu, was hot,delicious and the teriyaki sauce was very good. Service was great we had a big group so it was a tiny bit slow but overall excellent. Atmosphere was chill and slow music playing, relatively quiet and a nice place to bring family friends and dates. The drinks are quick and to order, same for the food. I 100% recommend you to come here, this is a sleeper place. Prices are normal for everything!
