Me and my team ordered 3 orders of biscuits w/ sausage gravy and it came with no sausage. Now I understand it doesn’t come with much, but what I’d like to look for is sausage “no diddy”. This picture is the second order that was supposed to replace the first order. I promise this is the complete same copy and paste type of effort. I recommend either you guys add more sausage or just replace the actual wording, and just say gravy and biscuits no sausage!!

I went here for my first time to have breakfast and was highly disappointed. What I ordered was not what I received and the packaging showed a clear indication that they could care less about who was eating or guest service. To be specific, I had a single pancake thrown into a chicken tender open box and then into a bag and put underneath a box with a pancake and sausage breakfast. When I got home, the pancake was stuck to the box and I was confused as to why the bag was greasy. There were no condiments, napkins or silverware for four breakfast plates and items. I specifically asked for these things during my order and when I was given my food. When I got home and saw the state of my order, I waited until the start of lunch and took the food back untouched. I asked to speak to the manager and he refused to come to the counter until another employee walked over, I explained the situation and told her I did not want a refund – just a gift card or credit so that I could spend the $18+ dollars from breakfast on a fresh lunch. She actually seemed to somewhat care – at least enough to listen. She then went to Brandon – the manager, whose name I only learned because I heard it while they called him several times – who then came to the counter, did not so much as apologize, introduce himself or even ask the situation and simply said “is this your receipt?” while looking at the counter. He gave me a refund to my credit card and when he came back to the counter he just picked up the bag of inedible food and tossed it. I told him that my intention was a gift card and he said that was impossible then walked away. I asked for my receipt so that I could leave a review and he would not come back to the counter. I have managed fast food and casual dining, as well as served, cooked, hosted and any number of things related to restaurants and food; I always give the benefit of the doubt, but this was by far one of my worst experiences and I can see that this location will eventually suffer if attitudes like Brandon’s persist. When I returned for lunch, there were only one or two other customers in the store and none in the drive thru, yet there were trays of fried chicken, chicken tenders and even fries being hot held to sell as fresh products. This is not what people pay for and if you don’t value your customers, they won’t return. I am now soured on Jack’s in Crestwood.

This has to be one of the worst Jack’s locations in Birmingham. I love Jack’s food, but good luck getting it all here. They leave items out of my order on a regular basis. Recently, I was told to pull forward and my food would be brought to me. After 20 mins, I went inside and asked 2 female employees at a table – one of whom told me to pull forward – about my order. I was told “We’re off the clock!” No offer to help, at all. I had to stand in a long line just to ask about my food. I was told they didn’t know anything about it. Fortunately, I had my receipt. I wish the service here was better, because the food is good.

“I visited this Jacks and, unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. While the flavors of the dish were good, I found a hair in my food, which was extremely off-putting. I immediately tried informing the staff, but the response felt insufficient and did not seem to take the matter seriously. This left me feeling quite disappointed, especially given the restaurant’s reputation. Food hygiene should always be a top priority, and I hope that this issue is addressed so that future customers don’t have the same unpleasant experience.”

My grilled chicken sandwich was dry and hard. Had no taste. Probably there since lunch. The mashed potatoes were so dry and stiff i couldn’t swallow without a mouth full of tea. Definitely won’t be visiting this location again

I have been to this location several times and they’ve always been a pretty slow but otherwise mostly okay. Ordered pick up through the app today and it was terrible. The bag was soaking wet – not just from steam – the sandwiches were cold and just sad. I’ve never had truly stale chicken, but that’s the only way I can describe what y’all served us. And the wait was crazy.

My burger was cold, but it was pretty good nonetheless. Fries and chicken were very hot and good. The lettuce and tomatoes are fresh!

The interior is super nice. Great spot to sit down and eat.

It’s really annoying that their only soda fountain, and the condiments, are behind the counter. So you have to ask for ketchup and refills.

Stopped by the Irondale location for the first time and… yikes. I get that they were super busy, but while I was there, a man was literally threatening other customers. It got bad enough that staff had to kick him (and someone else) out of the restaurant. On top of that, the food was rough. The biscuits and gravy looked super unappetizing — slimy and just leaking gravy all over the bag (photo attached). And I had to go back up twice: once for syrup they forgot and again because they gave me regular Coke instead of Diet. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for. I’ll be making the extra drive to the Homewood location from now on.

This Jack’s Birmingham was the most busiest place.I’ve ever been in my whole entire life. I will say that they were on their p’s and q’s, and they were getting the people out. The only problem that I saw was everybody kept coming back into the store.Because I believe the people were being very stingy with their jellies, and were not giving enough or people weren’t asking for what they needed before walking out the door.

Clean place, relatively new. Food was fresh and served hot. Tried the Southern Chicken sandwich meal with sweet tea. I asked for a strawberry & cream cheese and got an apple pie. But it was good. The tea is okay. I appreciate the manager for letting me know to watch out for the sandwiches because they were freshly cooked. Awesomeness!
