Nothing wrong this place. First time hear and the the outside parking lot had a bunch of litter. It was a turn-off at first because I was expecting the restaurant to be dirty.
Not the case….The server (Mary) was nice. I ate the double cheese-burger, chicken wrap and gyro. Below are the pics.
Burger was juicy…and made perfect…didn’t fall apart…
The wrap and gyro was also good. I give the food a 9/10. Thanks…We will be back next time i’m in the area.

Been a L George’s customer over 40 years, this location our 2nd visit. A dozen locations now all packed with happy diner’s. Started with marvelous Beef Barley Soup . She had a fantastic Gyro and Fries spot on wonderful. Me the mega all the Meats Omelette OMG truly a guy stuffer, fantastic . Would not recommend. Very dirty and rude staff. I requested extra syrup and only got one. I called back when I got home for them to lie and say they out 3 in the bag and I can pay 50cents per additional syrup. I won’t argue with uneducated waitresses won’t be back.
Food is also mediocre and over priced. Black specs all over the waffle. I was just hungry working from home and needed somewhere close by to run and grab food on my break.

I’m in hospital could not figure out door dash. called and talked to a i think her name was Zoe and the owner Lisa, im not the smartest when it comes to internet. They couldn’t have been any nicer, after me trying to figure it out 2or more hours The owner Lisa ended up bringing my delicious dinner to the hospital. How awesome was that i told her when I am able to walk again I will be walking in that L georges on Michigan Ave thank you again. Made a terrible day turn into a great day.

This is usually my go to place. 15 minutes on hold. I decide to walk in while still on hold. No one is working the phones. I inquire with blonde lady at the counter why. No apology. No charm or class. She says we are busy do u want to order or not. I am standing there in shock. She says, ” i guess not.” Then walks away. My sick daughter is in the car and I must feed her of course I want to order.
Keep in mind the entire restaurant is seeing this lady rip me apart. I also have massive social anxiety but its no one else’s fault so I bury it deep.
I tell her she is behaving rudely, I am a regular customer, and I ALWAYS tip the ladies (even if its my last two dollars – I kept that to myself).
I told her I was very disappointed.
Of course I will return. I am a human being. I dont deserve to be treated as a bother when I just want to feed my sick daughter. We all have bad days. Sometimes one lady ruins it for everyone who worked so hard to build a good reputation before her.

I’m truly an L.Georges fan. My favorite is the original location Six mile and Schaefer (Detroit). However I try other locations, decided to visit wayne. Due to me living close by. The food was good. However, the prices are more than I’m used to paying. I spent $18 for a BLT sandwich , kinda dry ( which was very small) and a bowl of chili. I could’ve gotten an entire 4 piece meal with two sides at Lee’s chicken, for $11.

Ordered breakfast. 3 eggs, bacon, ham, sausage with hash browns. Eggs were pretty dry. Ham i didn’t like at all. Had a weird taste to me. Boiled ham maybe ? LoL. Sausage and hash browns were average. Bacon was good. But I mean isn’t bacon always good ?
