Instead of bread, they served us picked, which I am surprised to say we’re awesome. O never imagined asking for seconds of picked, a must try.
The drinks were also spectacular, tasty yet giving a buzz.
The Calamari was awesome, so was the lobster bisque. Though I felt the lobster bisque quantity was a bit less. For all other food items the price and quality were good.
The chicken slceasef salad and the Capital Burger we’re awesome, especially the burger, it was juicy and succulent.
I had a very filling and satisfying meal.
The overall ambiance was super chill and had great vibes to catch a bite, drink or socialize! Outdoor patio seating is also available which would be superb on a beautiful day with an ever better burger. Enjoy!
The Capital Burger delivers. The energy on Newbury Street matches the place—busy but welcoming. The space feels polished without being stiff, and the staff strikes that balance between professional and friendly.
The burger was spot on. Juicy, seasoned right, cooked exactly how I asked. The fries were crisp, not greasy, and the portions felt fair for the price. You can tell they care about consistency here.
But the surprise star? The pickles. Hands down the best I’ve had at any burger spot in Boston. They’re tangy, fresh, and cut through the richness of the burger perfectly. You can taste the quality—whoever’s making them knows what they’re doing. I’d buy a jar if they sold them.
The bar is solid, too. The cocktails are clean and well-balanced, not drowned in sugar. Service kept pace even when it got crowded, which says a lot for a busy Back Bay restaurant.
If you’re in the area and want a burger done right, this is the place. Go for the food, stay for the pickles. 5/5.
Food: I got a Caesar salad because I and the others in my group noticed the burgers were kinda small for the price (about the size of an In-N-Out double double burger). The salad was a decent portion for the price ($20 before tip). I normally wouldn’t pay $20 for a Caesar Salad, but the restaurant is right in the Copley Square area, so I kept that in mind.
