I decided to order here after reading what seemed like decent reviews. On a positive note, the food was prepared quickly in the drive-thru, but I was disappointed with the quality. I ordered the carne asada fries. The food looked great when I ordered it, but it was extremely salty. Also, the plate was basically all fries with very little meat and cheese. It looked like there was a lot of food, but it was just how it was, packed. For a $17 meal, it was not worth the amount of food or the quality.

Fantastic food. This is a place to get good, authentic Mexican food, not bland, Americanized mush packaged in “Mexican” kitsch. Several sauces burned my face off; I’ve never experienced that before at a Mexican restaurant. My partner destroyed her tamale plate and I thoroughly enjoyed my torta milanesa. We’re definitely coming back on our return trip through Flagstaff.

I eat hear all the time, it’s usually great. But last night, 12-30-2025, severe food poisoning, like the worst I’ve ever been though. All of the normal food poisoning fun, plus hives all over, and internal bleeding. It was a steak and egg burrito, which I always get here, never had a problem before. Not bashing them, just warning others and Polibertos.

Love supporting local mom and pop places when we are traveling. Craving Mexican we found Piliberto’s tucked away off of Rte. 66. Boy did we make a mistake. Rude staff working drive through window acting like he couldn’t hear us when we answered him. When we got to the window my husband apologized saying “sorry if I sounded frustrated, I think there is something wrong with your speaker.” Only for the guy to say “I heard you” and then laugh. What? Why play games?
By the time we got back to the hotel (2 miles) the nachos we ordered were pure mush and completely soggy. Not to mention, $25 for nachos and a soda (including tip) is sit-down prices, not drive through.
Starving we ate them and boy did we pay for that later.
Skip this place, too many other great Mexican places in the area to deal with games and sub-par food.

If your looking for anything Carne Asada come to Poliberto’s this place has it on point. The burritos are perfect all carne asada! My boys tell me the Carne Asada fries are the best, I haven’t tried it but after having the burrito I don’t have any doubt the Carne Asada fries are good.

Stopped in the drive through for a breakfast burrito. Picked up a sausage burrito and it was great. Good size and very filling. It came with some really good hot sauce. Will stop by and try some of the Mexican food for lunch. Lots of options on the menu.
