We decided to try B&B after learning about their dinner menu which is heavily influenced by Africa and the Diaspora,”. The food was not necessarily “authentic” but their take on the dishes were phenomenal. We started with the cassava frites which is served with black garlic aioli and caviar. It was so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Absolutely delicious. We loved the octopus. It was cooked to perfection and whatever dressing they used for the greens was so light and fresh. Our last small plate was the tasso. It was cooked perfectly but we felt there was too much of the epis but when you eat it with the pikliz and plantain it works very well. My friend liked her shrimp but wasn’t crazy about the gnocchi. I got the chicken and I liked it. Very juicy and the sauce and potatoes that accompanied it were great.

It is such a cute establishment and I liked the music. Our server, I believe her name was Stephanie, was so nice and did a great job. The Maitre D was also very welcoming and knowledgeable about the dishes as well.

I will definitely be back but I think next time I will just try all the small plates instead of doing a large plate.

This place is truly a delight. Our food was EXCEPTIONAL! I started with the Berries Fruit Tea and it was unspeakably delicious. Then I ordered a croque madame which was so decadent and flavorful. The sunny side egg was buttery and creamy. I got a side of avocado which was the perfect accompaniment. Honestly, they needed to roll me out because everything was so tasty. Our service was phenomenal from seating to the waiter. I cannot wait to bring everyone I love here.

I enjoyed this experience immensely. I was greeted with a friendly face. She was quick with seating us and kept excellent communication with the kitchen and staff. I loved the presentation of the table. The coffee was delicious, well brewed and enjoyable alone. Cream came on the side which I added after trying the coffee itself. I ate the salmon toast; my partner had the aged prosciutto toast. I was amazed by meeting the head chef there on my first visit. Brown was kind and generous. I asked him where to go in the city and he said to come back for dinner. It was the best decision we made while there. The lamb melted like cotton candy. The pork ribs were savory with a little crisp/char on the surface. We returned on our last day in the city to take croissants to go because the buttery croissant was too good to only eat it once. I bought the other two to see if it compared!!

I came here with my boyfriend for Saturday brunch and the food was amazing. We had the Hot Mezanmi and the flavor was out of this world delicious, it tasted like Black cake. If you’re West Indian or know of this cake and like it, this drink is a must try ! He had the Steak and eggs and I had the Salmon toast with a side of crispy potatoes. Wow ! Hands down the best crispy potatoes I’ve had in Atl.

Nice brunch spot close to the Beltline! The mimosas were great and the prices very reasonable. We tried the ham toast, salmon toast, and the omelette—everything was fresh and delicious. My friends and I had a wonderful time, and we’ll definitely be coming back.

First experience: We stopped by their little outside food stand at the Inman Park festival, which had Lamb belly kebabs. My husband tried one and had to spit it out and throw the rest away because it was pretty much all fat. With that said, I do want to come back and try this place for breakfast items. But we definitely cannot recommend the lamb kebabs.

2nd visit: we visited for brunch on. Saturday. Not too long of a wait. Food was okay but very pricey for breakfast items – $68 for 2 people – we had the avocado toast; tomato toast; crunchy potatoes; 1 coffee; peach burrata. The service was pretty good. Decor / ambience good.

Didn’t like the peach burrata dish but didn’t realize it was cheese based dish and I’m dairy free, so that was a waste of money. Too bad our server, who we told I WSD DF and GF, didn’t call this out when we ordered it.

The gluten free bread was pretty good.

Everything was amazing here. The food, the service, and the beautiful interior of the restaurant. I had the best salmon toast I’ve had in my life so far. It had all of my favorite ingredients in it.

Also, my friend ordered the steak and eggs which turned out to be way too salty, so we told our server and the manager came out and offered to remake it. We did get it remade and it tasted a lot better. I wish I could come here frequently but sadly I don’t live here. I will recommend my friends to go here if they ever visit Atlanta ☺️

My wife and I had a great experience at bread and butterfly. We sat on the patio facing the street with a view. The food was really good. While they didn’t have bacon, they did do fried hard pancietta which is bacon. My wife didn’t care much for her yogurt and granola, I tried it as well and it’s a little different but not because it was nasty, the flavor collaboration didn’t fit my pallet. I will be back on my next visit to ATL!

Just enjoyed a delicious dinner with friends at Bread & Butterfly. It was my first time dining at B&B, we made reservations for dinner and were seated right away. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. We started off with the plantain buns, scallops and Haitian pastry. The scallops came in a very tasty curry sauce which we used to dip our buns in. The pastry was filled with a lovely seasoned beef. The chicken was moist and paired so well with the wine reduction sauce. The risotto was filled with herbs. Needless to say we ate it all! Great night out with friends with great food!
