Our reservation was for 8 we did arrive early and we were able to sit at the bar until our table was ready. The bar was a little busy at the time we arrived so we didn’t get asked if we wanted anything to drink for about 10 minutes. When we finally did get seated a little after 8, we followed the owner to our table. He was not too chatty with us. It was our first time there and we wanted a little more history on the place. Our waitress came and took our order we had time to look at the menu while we waited at the bar. I had the T-bone steak with the sugar spice, with twice baked potato and a house salad. My husband had the 16oz Ribeye with sugar spice, baked potato and vegetable soap, and Firecracker shrimp. We had our bread which was good. Then we noticed the table next to ours had their salads already and we were sat before them. I was worried that all the food would come out together. We got the waitress attention and she immediately brought out the salad and soup. Then the food came right after that. The steaks were delicious with the sugar spice, but they can only cook the meat to medium well and that was too pink for my liking. They can only cook certain steaks to medium well with their caramelized sugar spice or it will over cook the steaks. It was a nice experience to try. The twice baked potato was nothing, but a potato baked twice with sour cream, cheese, bacon, and onions on top. We had to ask the waitress for refills on our drinks. Overall it was a fairly good night. The lighting was set a little darker so when I would try to take pictures for the review my flash would go off which I don’t like because I feel I am disturbing other around me. I would go back and pray I get a better experience. It is a pricy experience.

I just wanted to write this review because I’ve been here about 3 times and I always have a great time and excellent steak. We were celebrating a friends engagement the time ran away from us but the level of care and patience was wonderful. Highly recommend if you are looking for excellent long running steakhouse. I would recommend the wagyu, the t-bone and the sugar rub.
All around will definitely be back.

We decided to come here just to try it out. The atmosphere is wonderful. The bread and butter at the beginning of the meal was great. My daughter said the pomegranate margarita was perfect. She had a sugar steak and I had the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy. Both were huge servings. We each took home a to go box. Dessert looked great but we were definitely not hungry.

I should have ordered the steak. The place is very 1970s and the chicken was period correct. Our cocktails were very good. I will be back and next time will try the sugar finished steak (and skip the vegetables). The interior was authentic and had a good vibe. Server was great.

I ordered their chef special ‘Wagyu Steak Flight’ dinner, which was pricey, but a truly amazing meal. Included were three different regions of wagyu steak, which was a delicious way to become familiar with them.
The food and service were great and the atmosphere was very special and unique, but it got so noisy at times it became challenging to have a conversation.

We arrived at Bastien’s for a reservation that we thought we made. Unfortunately, we made a mistake when making the reservation and made it for the wrong day. The host was very accommodating, despite it being very busy, and was able to squeeze in a table for 6 people. The server was very attentive, never letting any drinks remain empty, and had a great personality. We had a great family dinner and are very appreciative of everything they did for us. Thank you guys for a great experience!
Pictures of food are of the steak sandwich (very good) and 16oz NY Strip with Sugar Sub (Very Tasty)

The food here is unbelievable. Cammy was an amazing server with great personality. Nice wines to go with your chicken, steak, or pork. Cocktails are spot on and unique.
I gave this place a low atmosphere score because the tables full of “bro groups” were annoying as hell. F-bombs dropped left and right, loud football arguments, and nonstop talk about relations between women and men.
The establishment WOULD have had a perfect score from me had it not been for the tables of what seems like frat boys all over the place.
Be aware of that if this is meant to be a quiet date.

Had the T-Bone special with the sugar rub, the twice baked potato, red chili and the Cesar salad. First time eating here but it was fantastic and for sure will be back to enjoy another sugar steak. I was worried the sugar flavor might over power the steak but it’s a very mild sugar taste and it’s not enough to detour you from enjoying your meal. The creme brûlée was wonderful.

Bastien’s is hands down the best steak in town! The steaks are always cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and juicy. The atmosphere is friendly, cozy, and welcoming, making it a great spot whether you’re going out with family, friends, or even on a date night. The service is warm and attentive, and you can tell they truly care about their guests.
