My husband, our 2 kids and I enjoyed brunch at L’Anse French Cafe & Croissanterie after multiple recommendations from our family and friends. We were not disappointed! The service did start off slow, we were confused if we were in the line waiting to be seated or the line to order takeaway, unsure if it was table service and we had to wait for our table to be ready because people who had ordered takeaway had sat there. Besides that, our food came out in a timely manner and all staff were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. We loved the glass window and watching items be made, we bought plain croissants, a chocolate croissant, caramel donuts and cheesecake (all tasted like perfection). The food and coffee/hot chocolate is beyond incredibly delicious and the presentation of the pancakes was beautiful, it looked like it could’ve taken hours to present! You can tell the chefs have spent quality time planning and preparing each menu item to perfection! Pancakes and scrambled eggs on toast may be basic but this one most definitely was not. If I could recommend anywhere in Port Lincoln or even South Australia for someone to enjoy a wholesome, delicious, quality, vibrant and flavoursome experience, L’Anse French Cafe & Croissanterie is the place!

Absolutely spectacular. Some of the best breakfast we’ve had in Australia so far. The food and service are faultless. We loved absolutely everything, every single dish. It’s on the pricey side, but well worth it. Highly recommended.

An absolute pleasure to visit this cafe. Food was awesome specially all the baked items.

Though the choices were limited but the preparation and the flavours were authentic and delicious.

We went as group with diary free and gluten free requirements and all left the cafe fully satisfied.

Highly recommended.

Beautiful, cosy café with excellent food and drinks, and staff who are both friendly and professional. We were looked after by Manon, who took the time to walk us through the specials, explain each dish, and offer thoughtful recommendations. We ordered the day’s specials along with a few pastries, and everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Lovely little French cafe. Owner was super lovely.
Food was tasty and the pancakes looked like a work of art! Coffee was great also!
We came around 11am and a lot of the pastries were sold out (see the photos, they must be popular to sell out!) and we managed to get the last serving of pancakes. So suggest going earlier if you want to try all the options.
At 11.30 you can order some savoury options which we didnt get to try unfortunately.
Would definitely recommend!

The food was delicious. The coffee was so-so. It didn’t seem to have much of a coffee aroma. The discount is offered at the following locations. The local woman working there felt it was a bit unfair. There was a slight degree of racial discrimination. Upon seeing our Asian faces, they said the reservations were full. The local girls behind us in line didn’t have reservations, but we gave them seats. Those simply wanting to try the food can enjoy it. It gets very crowded during holidays, so they’re quite busy. Perhaps they wouldn’t be treated unfairly on a non-holiday basis.

The best croissant I have had- even from France! The fine layers were so buttery and light. The chia pudding is to die for with fresh raspberry couli. Loved the relaxing atmosphere for our anniversary lunch. Highly recommend when in Port Lincoln

The perfection of the croissants and cafe took me straight back to a renowned Boulangerie in Dijon. To mix it up a bit i had a raspberry croissant which you would expect in a Pâtisserie.
Do take the time to indulge as it is truly worth it. C’est absolument délicieux !

Nice cafe with a modern vibe and friendly staff. Many delicious pastries on display to choose from. The brunch menu was delicious too. Ham and cheese croissant with sunny side egg paired really well together. The pastries were also delicious, especially New York roll and pistachio Cube.

We were travelling to Port Lincoln from Adelaide and a friend of ours recommended the crossiants from this cafe. The cafe was quite busy when we arrived and we ordered some takeaway croissants and coffee.

The crossiants were good. We have had much better crossiants from local bakery in Adelaide at a reasonably better price point.
I am an avid coffee lover and can tell the the coffees were not upto the mark (it was burnt).
