Amazing flavors and a wonderful atmosphere! The chef even comes out to help with menu selections and offers great advice—he guided me to an incredible meal. I highly recommend checking this place out if you want something truly special. Service is friendly and fast!

If you like authentic Jamaican food, look no further. The Mad Cow Grill is worth the visit. Great place for happy hour with awesome music selections which sets the irie vibe. With their private meeting room, it is great for events of 75-100 people with plenty of free parking in a well-lit shopping center. The only request to improve is to not have the fire pit where the patrons stand to collect their food from the outdoors as we smelled like a chimney and the smoke smell remained in our clothes, hair and car which was unpleasant. Otherwise, it was a great new place to experience.

First time visiting this establishment. We walked in and were seated. We were given a menu and my son asked what drinks do you have? The waitress told hom to scan the QR code. She could’ve just said what kind of drinks they had. When the table behind us asked she ran down the list to them. We ordered our food and my sister ordered chicken and waffles (her food arrived cold), I ordered a shrimp salad (suposse to have been jerk) $17 for this salad, I wasn’t impressed. The only thing thst was good was my son’s french fries. I won’t be visiting here again..

The food and drinks here are always amazing 10/10! The prices are fair. The service is always subpar — our server was 1 of 2 working during my last visit, and there was no crowd (3 tables inside, 2 tables outside, and about 8 ppl at the bar).

I stopped here with a colleague from work for dinner. It was pretty good. We split the special of the day (curried Goat) and some jerked chicken along with some Siracha hot wings. The food was pretty good. Service was a little slow but overall I liked it and would not hesitate to go back.

Outstanding!!! Full stop ! My hubby and I happened upon it after a mishap where we intended to dine elsewhere as we were grabbing a bite on our 26th wedding anniversary. Wow, we were NOT disappointed at all. It was both of our first time at Mad Cow. We ordered several items off the menu, basically it was hard to decide. Our waiter happened to to be the owner and head chef, who walked pass, asked if we had be helped, then came back immediately and proceeded to take our order. Because of numerous food allergies that I have, he guided me through the menu and advised where the food could be adjusted to my needs. EV-VER-RYthing was scrumptious!!! Seasoned to perfection!!! Mouth watering. Grilled jerk wings, Salmon, cabbage, rice & peas, jerk chicken quesadillas, curry chicken spring rolls & coco bread. The rum punch was sooooooo on point. Hopefully I’ll be able to add my pics of our food to this review.

We met here for lunch today. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service. One co-worker said that his pork ribs were just OK, and I agree. I ordered them to go and requested extra sauce. However, my ribs had a very thin layer of sauce, and they were spicy. My co-worker said his pork ribs were spicy too. He did not want his spinach; my spinach and rice and beans were still good the next day. Those who had burgers, enjoyed them. I also enjoyed my fried fish tacos. My Coconut & Walnut cake did not have enough cake, though it was tasty. It seemed to be mostly the whipped cream topping. My Jamaican fruit cake was moist and sweet. They have 3 stalls in the rest room; one is handicap accessible. They also have outdoor dining, and they have added an extension which looks like a potential conference hall or venue for private parties.

This was my first visit and I am quite disappointed.
No jerk wings during brunch , so I ordered a Jerk Chicken burger. The chicken patty had minimal taste, certainly not anything I would call jerk chicken. I was expecting a chicken breast, but it appears to be ground chicken. See the picture. Please note that the menu does not specify what piece of chicken it will be—simply my expectation. The French fries were good.
My friend ordered Island Ackee with Codfish “BOLIED”, per the receipt and perhaps that was the problem. The codfish and ackee were delicious, but less than 1/4 of the plate. The “boiled” potato was just that, a tasteless, cold, boiled potato. There was a tasteless cold, brown/gray banana that a Jamaican friend said was a boiled green banana.
Yes, we are not Jamaican, but we have both been to the Caribbean and NEVER had such tasteless food masquerading as Jamaican.
We even spoke to the manager who offered no apologies or explanations. He simply had a “whatever” attitude. I found this quite disappointing because I have owned a food establishment for 17 years and I respond to EVERY Google review we get—good or bad. Look at Mad Cow’s and most DO NOT have a response. To me, responding shows you care about your customers and your business and they obviously don’t.
I did bring my burger home so I can season it and hopefully enjoy it with the fries.
I have since discovered the problem. I was going based on my research a few years ago when they were advertising as more of a Jamaican-influenced restaurant, but if you look at the picture below, they’re now calling it “Good AMERICAN fare”.

I am definitely not going back.

I understand why the cow is mad!

The food was great… I got the oxtail and it was so tender. My friend got vegetable stew which I wasn’t sure about but it was delicious. I actually wish they’d make the vegetable stew as a side so I could get that with the oxtail. And the kitty Kat drink was pretty good a bit strong but I was stronger… Drank it all. Server was great. If you’re going for the brunch read the menu ‍♀️… It’s only on Sunday. Still I was not disappointed.

I went to mad cow grill with a couple of coworkers. We spent two hours there. If you’re looking to go, it is in your best interest to show up before six, if you don’t have a reservation. It was packed by the time we were leaving. We tried a couple items from the happy hour menu. They were all decent. The brussels sprouts, jerk chicken quesadilla, and the happy hour burger were all good. I didn’t order anything off the main menu but I feel like if I did, I would’ve enjoyed it. I hosted a great job. We ordered virgin drinks and it took a while to come. Overall good experience.
