Tried for the first time today. Food with flavor finally! I had the steak skillet breakfast, and it was great. The employees were all friendly and attentive. Only reason for 4 stars on atmosphere is I felt the tables needed a little more room between them. Person behind went to get up and the chair smacked into the back of mine. But that’s not a reason to keep me from coming back.

We’ve eaten here a few times, and it’s always been good. Today, however, we got their double cheese burger with no bun sub lettuce wrap. Eating burgers like this is messy, but I love them. Unfortunately, I paid $17 for an overly cooked burger that was flavorless, super dry, and very hard to chew! I would have called to let them know, but it’s Sunday, and they close at 4. The WORST burger ever, hands down. I will not be back. It twisted the plastic fork as the fork was hard to take out. HORRIBLE! I couldn’t eat it after a few bites. Stomach pains are currently kicking in..

My husband and I grabbed linner here at like 2pm on a Saturday so it wasn’t busy at all. Here’s my categories –

Service: I think there were like three or four total people who came to our table to help us. They were all very nice and super attentive.

Food: my husband ordered fish tacos, which I think was a special, but I could be wrong. They were absolutely magical. So full of flavor and so huge. We also got loaded fries which we added ranch to. Their ranch is clearly house made. You don’t want to miss out on it! I’ll go back just to get that fr. I got the Reuben and you can see in the picture how massive it is and how much meat they put on it! It was really good, but I will say if you like a classic Reuben, this is not for you. There is something very sweet about it instead of sauerkraut-y. Still wonderful! Just not what I was expecting.

Price: the portions are huge for the price. I think it absolutely is a good value.

We definitely will be back.

The food is always really good and very reasonable on price. The servers are always nice. My only issue with the restaurant is there is nothing on the ceiling to help with noise. So if there’s a kid on a phone playing a game with sound it’s really loud in the whole dining room. Whispers sound like yelling. So when it’s busy it’s extremely loud.

This was our first time here but won’t be our last. The food was delicious. I ordered the Chicken Wellington. It was a large serving. It was creamy, bacony, and the chicken was cooked through while still moist. Everyone in our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our server, Sue, was attentive and friendly. She did such a great job of taking care of us.

Dine in Dinner first visit.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, Locally Owned Small Business.. HIDDEN GEM! party of 7 (5 adults,1 toddler & 1 infant).. Staff was very friendly & when asked questions about some of the menu items preparation due to dietary concerns of some of the party they happily went to ask the cooks to get the answers vs having a negative response to such questions. SUE is lovely, professional & cares about her job & it shows. The atmosphere is very welcoming & relaxed. The restaurant is very clean including the exposed duct work, lighting fixtures & decor in the dining room which are difficult areas to keep clean & you can tell that things like the menus & the cool wooden condiment caddies on each table are cleaned & stocked with rotated items daily. They look brand new. My only criticism is that it was difficult to hear due to the acoustics. The volume was low or off on the mounted Tv’s & it was not busy but I had a hard time hearing the people I was eating with. Ok sooo. The menu.. the food totally exceeded my expectations. It has a wonderful mix of Midwest comfort foods like Pot Roast, Meatloaf, Fried Chicken, Chicken Fried Chicken, Chicken Fried Steak, Beef Liver with Bacon, & many more options along those lines PLUS they have several Greek dishes, Italian Dishes including Spaghetti & other pasta dishes, a Roast Pork with Sauerkraut w/ Dumpling so a little German cuisine, a Pork Chop they are proud of, Turkey & Dressing, seafood options, Entree Salads, Steak, Prime Rib & to my delight an absolutely lovely Chicken Wellington. My educated guess is that they even assemble these to order due to them having fresh tomato in them.. they tell you up front on the menu that it will take at least 25 minutes for this dish & two of us ordered it so we also ordered a couple of appetizers to munch on while we waited.. we got the Fried CHEESE CURDS which were crispy golden & delicious & a decent portion but they were also like $9.00 with I guess is about standard now.. we also got the CLEAVERS LOADED FRIES which were good & a huge portion. The BBQ was tasty but it could use more cheese. It was good yet honestly the sauce was a little runny & the BBQ while delicious kinda overpowered the cheese.. it kinda reminded me of a Poutine from Canada but I don’t think that was what they were going for. Definitely need a fork & napkins when eating this one. With the runny sauce the potatoes got soggy. It came with a tasty Ranch for dipping as well. All of the portions were plentiful & I could only eat about half of my Wellington which I got with Fresh Asparagus & Roasted Potatoes. The Chicken in the Wellington was Juicy & tender, it also had loads of crisp Bacon, Swiss Cheese, Cream Cheese Fresh Tomato & was baked in a wonderfully thin yet flaky delicious golden crust.. Served with a light lemon cream sauce which I will ask for a little extra sauce on the side next time cause the Wellington is so big it didn’t come with enough sauce but to give the Chef credit, if they put more sauce on the plate it would have looked messy & gotten my potatoes soggy & no body wants that. I didn’t order any this trip but they also have a modest but decent selection of wines, beers & mimosa available along with Pepsi Products etc. The dessert options were minimal & seemed expensive.. plus we were all too full for dessert so we didn’t order any this visit. So for what seems to be a fairly small menu they have a lot of variety ranging from classic Country/ Midwest Fare, selections from several diffrent cuisines & even dishes I would expect on a fancier menu.. something to make everyone in your party happy. I DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK & BRINGING MY FAMILY HERE. THIS IS OUR KIND OF PLACE, GOOD FOOD, GOOD ATMOSPHERE, GREAT QUALITY, GOOD VALUE & SUPPORTING A LOCAL FAMILY OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. YUMMMMM! 5M’S on my Yum scale.

I ordered the pork, sauerkraut & dumpling. The pork was good. The sauerkraut had too much sugar in it so it had no bite to it. The dumpling was ok but it tasted…different?

My son ordered the meatloaf, mashed potatoes & asparagus. He said his food was ok. It had green peppers in it which he isn’t a big fan of but he still ate a whole piece. Asparagus was very good. Strong flavor with a little kick.

My husband had the chicken livers with green beans (lots of onions) & mashed potatoes. It came with fried rice too. The livers were FANTASTIC! The best we have had in a long time. He loved the rice & potatoes but the green beans were very bland despite all the onions.

His son had a grilled chicken wrap with fries. He loved both!

The portions were a great size. We definitely brought leftovers home. Prices were decent, especially for the amount of food you get.

Staff was very nice & took care of us

We will probably go back sometime to try other things on the menu.

We were driving through from south to north. Sought out a casual diner like experience. The menu looked appealing. The front doors have bold print signs announcing that non-paying customers are not welcome to use the restrooms. First impressions matter. The menu is robust with options for all “three” time-frames — breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service was good and attentive. Food quality was average, not outstanding. I ordered the cheeseburger — wasn’t sure what type of meat was used to make the patties — I didn’t eat half of it. My wife finished half of her pork tenderloin sandwich which she liked.

This was my first time eating here since we moved to the area. Hands down, this was the best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever had. The fries were fantastic too. My wife liked the Chicago dog too. We’ll definitely be coming back to check out other menu items.

Good quality non-chain food in an easy to access location. We tried a number of different meals and everyone was happy with what they got. The turkey, gravy and stuffing was a treat that tasted like down home cooking. It wasn’t too busy and the service was good. We saw a good amount of deliveries and pickups go out too, so a good option there if you don’t want to venture out.
