Restaurant in an area full of fast food places. Great to be able to sit down and have a hot fresh cooked breakfast anytime of day. Hashbrowns were crispy; scrambled eggs were creamy, and everything was good. I was there after a rush-hour, and the waitresses were joking around and laughing, and having a good time while still giving excellence service.

A+++ rating, service, food!!! This Waffle House highly exceeded our expectations! We found the restaurant clean, with smiling, respectful staff, fast service and delicious food! We cannot say enough about our server Caden. He is so polite and thoughtful, stayed on top of our every need and want! He even took the time to rinse and dry each piece of silverware before bringing it to his customers. We were so impressed with this young man. Thank you Caden for setting such a good example and going above and beyond to serve others. We know you will succeed in whatever you put your hand to. Such a pleasure to meet you! We also apologize for not getting the managers name but he was cooking that day yet took the time to check on his customers, quietly guide his employees, instructing them with a patient and kind manner. The entire dining experience was a blessing and enjoyable one that will bring us back to this restaurant whenever we are in Birmingham. While at UAB Hospital, we were so blessed to find this spot for nourishment and to fill our time waiting for our new Granddaughter to arrive! Crispy bacon, cheesy scrambled eggs, raisin toast with apple butter, grits, tomatoes, waffles, hash browns, absolutely delighted our taste buds! So yummy! Thank you Waffle House and especially Caden!

I am not giving any stars to a place that one day charges me 6 dollars for 2 large coffees. One of which is in my on cup. Then the next day charges me 6 buck for just my cup. This is how you do people that are stuck at the hospital. I won’t be back.

Hash browns were undercooked. The server was the most dreadful and unpleasant worker who had zero manners and incredibly unfriendly and made my friends and I feel that we were making her do us a huge favour. Got the orders wrong and wouldn’t change it. Probably having a bad day but the server should not be taking it out and shoving her pathetic attitude in our face. Still tipped as I know how hard it is to make a living. The staff did not want my friend and I standing around inside after paying up while my other friend used the bathroom so we were forced outside and it was NOT even crowded. Would never go back. Keep far away!

Stopped by Waffle House and, well… it was Waffle House. My eggs came fully cooked with no runny yolk like, what’s the point of eggs if they can’t even get that right? My sweet tea wasn’t refilled until the very end of my meal, which was disappointing. The bathroom? Gross. And outside, there was some random person trying to steal cigarettes so, y’know, classic Waffle House vibes.
If you’re looking for a “fun” experience with questionable hygiene, missing drink refills, and overcooked eggs, this place has you covered.

Walked in and sat down, waited for almost 10 minutes just to order drinks and then 20 minutes later when we still hadn’t ordered because employees were busy socializing instead of doing thier jobs we got up and left won’t return. And the waitress had the nerve to say she put our ticket on our table when we hadn’t even ordered yet.

Homeless people outside harassing for money and screaming at themselves. They are not open 24/7. Think they open at 7am. The staff was polite and did a good job. Food was consistently good.
