We’ve been going to this place every time we’re in Half Moon Bay, but the quality doesn’t seem as good as before. We tried the mussels and were very disappointed. The pizzas are delicious, but not as good as they used to be. The same goes for a few other dishes. Still, it’s probably one of the best options there.

The clam chowder was really good, although it was a little bit more soup-based than I’m used to but was still marvelous. I highly recommend. The pizza was very good. I completely enjoyed the crust but my two friends thought it was strange.

Everything we are was excellent! The dessert was spectacular. My wife said her favorite ever at 56 years old. Layers of lemon custard, passion caramel sauce, lemon sorbet, topped with a toasted Italian meringue.

Great Italian restaurant to have nice quiet dinner. The place is nice with high ceilings and beautiful interior. Our server made great recommendations and we were not disappointed. We were a party of 5 and ended up ordering bruschetta, calamari, house marinated olives, pizza, fish, and pasta. Their drinks were exceptional. We ordered two mocktails and a bottle of red wine.

Have been here a few times over the past 10 years, and it has been delicious everytime! I just recently went back with a group, and all of our food was delicious, the waiter was professional, and the busser, Maribel, was very kind! We got bruschetta and olives to start, split the apple salad, halibut, pasta, lasagna, and Gnocchi. Would recommend it if you’re in half moon bay

We enjoyed our entrees very much. I had the gnocchi special and this was one of the best dishes I have ever had anywhere. It was rich with fresh flavors of cherry tomatoes and basil, and the gnocchi was perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed the paparadelle pancetta, which they accommodated a vegetarian request and omitted the pancetta. The butternut ravioli in a brown butter sauce was good, but for our tastes would have been even better with some vegetables (arugula or spinach. would have been a lovely addition fr our tastes.).
Service was attentive, however could have been more polished. I was quite surprised by how our table was cleared. While I appreciated the efficiency, it was awkward to have the staff stacking all of the dishes and cutlery in hers hands while. standing so close to my friend, who had to lean back into the wall to move out if the staff’s way. This is not the level of service I would ever expect at a restaurant o.f this caliber.

Excellent Italian food with lots of speciality pastas on the menu, great service and a very nice ambience. We ordered clam chowder to start with and the Shrimp Rock Pizza and Seafood pasta for main. The pizza was yummy, with an ultra thin, crispy crust and topped with avocados and shrimps….absolutely delicious ! The pasta and the chowder were also yummy. Our server was super polite and checked on us several times to make sure we have everything. Great experience!

All I can say is wow. The food here is so perfectly done! The fresh bread is so good. Their pasta is fresh and the sauce is amazing, very rich and flavorful. The pizza is fantastic. Service and ambiance are unbeatable, very top notch. Cocktails are strong and they have a great wine list.

This is really a great place for a wonderful celebration dinner. The atmosphere is great, the service friendly, and the food is absolutely amazing. Typical Italian dishes are prepared in a way you have never experienced before. Great appetizers, main courses, and desserts. A good vegetarian selection, including asking for substitutions on the non-veg dishes. The price is on the high side, but well worth the experience. Warmly recommended.

Walked in on a Sunday and was quickly seated for a party of 2. The place was relatively busy.
They start you off with complimentary cold, not fresh, bread with balsamic and olive oil. No good. We ordered the house made sausage pizza $26 and tagliatelle bolognese $32. The pizza was decent. Good size, generous amount of toppings, thin crispy crust, but extremely salty and oily. The pasta was good. You can tell the noodles and sauce were all house made using quality ingredients. We ordered a couple cocktails for $15 each, which were both well made
Service was ok. Only saw our server like twice. Other staff were helpful. Very modern, upscale looking restaurant. Nice table and chairs, great for dates. They have a small parking lot, but there’s plenty of free street parking as well
