I ordered 2 fresco melts and went to my truck and left. The bread was not toasted and there was no cheese on either sandwich. I was not happy but they still tasted good. Just not sure why they had such big mistakes

Good food and they didn’t mess around. Came out quick. Although I’m not a fan of the automated cashier. Some old lady before me was struggling with it. They need to eliminate the questions anout becoming a member and just make it simple.

Disappointed 1st time. Fries shoe string, burger thin, taste not so good. McD is better. No substance period. Good service and clean. Asked for a tip on cash, really ! Not the place or even a place to get a decent fry or burger. (Who uses the end of a ?)

The fact they offer a tip with no contact just a stupid kiosk is hilarious.
If they had someone to even take an order I would order food. But since they don’t want to talk to me. I’ll find somewhere else to give my money to.

I can see why people gave it a one star rating here, but for my experience, I really enjoyed it here, they have excellent food, service, and their staff is very friendly! Love it here, reminds me of the 50s and 60s diner

My visit to this establishment was rather disappointing. The building itself was clean, but the service was not great. The addition of kiosks is a great way to speed up service, but the lack of employees counteracts this. For example, during our visit, an elderly couple came in to order, and did not know how to place their order. An employee came out about five minutes later to help them, and once they placed their order, the employee didn’t bother to even explain how to get their drinks. Personally, I think having to scan a QR code just for a drink is ridiculous. It takes more time to do that than it does for an employee to just hand you a cup over the counter. Once we got our food, our burgers were all paper thin and we regretted getting singles because there was hardly any meat there. This was probably the worst experience I’ve had at a Steak ‘n Shake so far, and I think I’d rather just go to McDonald’s than eat there again.

5:55pm. 1st time eating at a Steak and Shake in years. Sadly disappointed. Kiosk ordering only. (I left a tip, thinking someone would bring food out to my table) I was going to give a cash tip to the server. (No server) you have to wait at the counter for them to call your name or number.( guy didn’t want to yell out “daddy”! I guess. Lol. Had a butter burger, fries, drink. Burger was hot and juicy. Fries were cold. Place was dirty. Miss Lexie came in, and cleaned tables first thing. Thanks dear. Not the dining experience I was hoping for.
