The food is PHENOMENAL!! I loved the food so much, it was hot, fresh, delicious, and the amount of food!!!! I was amazed by how good the dood is at this place.
Now, my only downfall was with the employees here. The waitress that served us, unfortunately wasnt the greatest experience. He was NOT writing down what we were ordering (keep in mind we were a group of 5) and that made me a bit concerned, and as I had felt, whenever the food was done he forgot to put in a few plates that we had ordered, which makes sense because he didnt write anything down, and we had to wait longer to get all of our food. Also, it was my uncles birthday, and I had spoken to the waitress about bringing my uncle a birthday dessert, he waited for the dessert for about 30 minutes and never received the dessert. So we didnt ask for it again. (after confirming the order) Took super long time to bring us the check, and after that he took about 20 more minutes to charge us for our food, I had to step to the main entrance and grab someone else’s attention so we could pay and leave. They were understaffed, and the people they had there were not very friendly. Only the host was, she was very kind and attentive.
Besides that, the food was so good that I will be going back to eat there. Hopefully the staff improves

I recently had the opportunity to visit this Old Chicago location for the first time, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant was notably clean and well-maintained, which created a welcoming environment for my meal. I was particularly impressed by the service; the server was truly excellent and attentive, though I unfortunately cannot recall his name. While the visit was positive, the calzone I ordered did come out a little more overdone than I would prefer. However, the rest of the experience was fine, and the high quality of service certainly made up for the minor issue with the food. I must admit that I am still quite sad to see that the Liberty location has closed, as I always enjoyed the food there and never had any issues regarding my orders at that site. Since the Liberty closure, this North Kansas City location is now the closest one to my home. Despite the small hiccup with my meal, it is a solid option for a local dinner, and I would certainly come back.

Let me first say, Lindsey, the GM of this fine establishment is amazing, kind, genuine, and generous. The prices are fair. The food is exquisite and the people make you feel like you just got home and they’re very happy to see you. This is a welcoming environment. Outstanding place to eat I wouldn’t recommend another pizza joint in 100 miles, or, hell a 1000 miles!

Kelsey was our waitress. I had lots of questions and she was able to answer everything. She recommended my pizza with crust and it was delicious. Seriously. It was very good. The fried pickles were amazing. The wings boner in were good. The house made ranch was very good.
I will return. Keep up the good work!!!!

I was optimistic going in but overall let down when leaving. The pizza is great. I love the crust, the sauce is solid, and it is genuinely really good pizza. If you are going strictly for pizza, you will definitely be happy. If you are ordering anything else, I would reconsider.
We tried the chicken sandwich, wings, salad, and spinach artichoke dip. The dip was good. No detectable artichoke, and very cheese heavy, but the wonton chips were a fun touch, reminded me of crab rangoon in taste, not expected but still good.
Everything else missed the mark. The chicken sandwich was extremely overcooked, very dark and incredibly dry. There was not nearly enough dressing to make up for the stiff bun and extremely dry chicken, and I could not get through more than two bites. The lettuce on the sandwich was also in poor shape with brown edges and a translucent, floppy center. The leaves you take off before you use the head.
The wings were just as disappointing, very dry, like pulling leather off of the bone, and covered in an overwhelmingly salty buffalo sauce. The salad was a mix of fresh lettuce and limp, dried pieces, and I had to pick through it as I ate.
Service was also subpar. We had to ask for water refills, which honestly tasted a bit off, and the beer I ordered was tapped out, but we were not told until about 15 minutes later after I ordered it and after asking twice. As the meal went on, our server became less welcoming and more short with us. It was busy, so I understand that can happen, but overall the experience outside of the pizza was disappointing.

I’ve never eaten at an Old Chicago before but the location for us was very convenient. Looked great and there are a lot of options to please just about anyone in your group. Plenty of different types of seating to accommodate any size of group, whether it’s at the bar, in a booth, tables, etc. Our server was absolutely amazing. The wings are good but I felt the boneless ones were dry. Which is probably a common complaint of any establishment with boneless wings. Cheeseburger was average. The hostess had pajama bottoms on so that threw me off a bit. Maybe it was okay for this day because it was Valentine’s Day and they had hearts on them. She also didn’t have menus clean and put together with a special insert and had to do that when we walked in. Which I thought was odd since it wasn’t very busy. Maybe they were short menus. I would definitely try again and get something else on the menu. Restaurant /bar was very clean and had a good sports bar vibe.

Took 15 minutes to get drinks. One beer order was wrong out of 4 ordered . The bar tender made up for it. The one 1 app ordered showed up during the rest of the food. Extra plates and napkins were given to the kids vs adults and Togo boxes were also given to the kids vs the adults. Another beer order was also messed up. This started at 3 pm when slow. Beer and pizza tasted good but thats the only positive.
