This place has been on my list to go to for some time and I was thoroughly impressed. They have a wide range of candies they make in house. They make all their own ice creams with many delicious flavors. Their French toast ice cream was just to die for. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to satisfy their sweet tooth or looking for some amazing ice cream.

Kellerhaus is the kind of ice cream shop Willy Wonka would be proud to own. First you walk through not one but two full rooms of candy – old-school sweets, chocolates, jams, jellies, toys and gifts everywhere you look – and then you hit the ice cream counter with the huge topping bar. Hot fudge, caramel, fruit sauces, nuts, sprinkles, candy… it’s basically a build-your-own sugar adventure.

The whole place has a fun, slightly retro vibe and you can easily lose track of time just wandering the shop. Ice cream is delicious, toppings are generous, and there’s something to keep kids (and adults) happy in every corner. Parents: just come with money and accept your fate. Totally worth a stop.

Lake Winnipesaukee’s best kept candy secret. Excellent candy selection, large range of confections, something for everybody. I would compare the homemade chocolate treats quality to mid western brands, See’s or Fannie May. Great for holiday gifts or just a special treat. Fun for adults looking for traditional candy and candy heaven for kids!

This iconic ice cream staple in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire never fails to provide the best sundae you’ll ever eat! Homemade toppings and ice cream made in the same equipment that is over 100 years old! This is the place to visit near Weirs Beach, and totally worth the time and effort! Bon apetit!

Located perfectly in the Lakes region of New Hampshire this place is awesome. Surprisingly a few bathrooms inside the whole place is clean. Of course they make chocolates to ship out across the country and there is plenty to buy from their delicious sundae bar to gifts for friends. The Sunday bar is awesome. I just fill up on pineapple sauce. There’s plenty of toys and stickers and stuffed animals for adults and kids alike plenty of parking out front and there is an area to sit in. That is covered right out front the staff is always been pretty friendly. I don’t know if it’s handicap accessible because from the vestibule you have to walk up a few steps and there might be a side entrance that I don’t know about and back down a few steps if you’re going to the candy section. Enjoy the place like so many other families have.

Great ice cream shop. Very large inside. I got the mint chip, which was very delicious. The host was very helpful and friendly. Smile on her face. You can tell she loves to work there. There are tons of great stuff. There is so much to look at. You’ll be in there for a while. Great atmosphere. Will be back

This place is truly special! Not only does it have over 100 years of history as a business in New Hampshire, but it also offers some of the best ice cream and chocolate products in the United States. I travel frequently for work, and today I experienced one of the top two most incredible ice cream flavors I’ve ever had. All the ice cream is made on-site using their own creamery, allowing for complete control over the manufacturing process.

Kellerhaus sells souvenirs and gifty things, they make great ice cream, but their claim to fame is their chocolate. Made “in haus” by their friendly and talented workers, their chocolates are world-class; I think it has a relatively high cocoa butter content and it makes a huge difference. They have a staffed candy counter where you can pick out caramels, jellies, nut or raisin clusters, and many more varieties enrobed in either dark or milk chocolate. They also have a separate sugar-free counter and huge truffle selection. The “candy room” also offers many non-chocolate treats and features a fascinating colony of live honeybees (they have free access to the out-of-doors) you can watch through glass. We always make a point of stopping by the Kellerhaus whenever we are in the area – sometimes we even make a special trip just to go there. They also have mail order and I’ve taken advantage of that to send Christmas and Easter treats to relatives. Highly recommend.

Verily, I hath visited Kellerhaus not once but twice, and each sojourn hath been a delight most rare. This establishment, nestled as if by providence in the bosom of New Hampshire’s lakeside charm, doth offer confections and curiosities that stir the soul and gladden the belly.

Upon my first ingress, the air was redolent with the sweet perfume of hand-dipped chocolates and freshly pressed waffle cones—a heavenly aroma, I dare say, rivalled only by ambrosia itself. The sundaes, which one may craft to one’s heart’s content at the famed buffet, are a joy unsurpassed, even by the finest of courtly banquets.

Twice have I returned, and twice have I departed with sack and spirit full. The wares are not merely edible delights, but heirlooms of flavor passed through generations, each bite a whisper of yesteryear.

Should thou find thyself in Weirs Beach, hie thee hence to Kellerhaus. It is no mere shop, but a temple of treats, a sanctum of sweetness, and a rare jewel in the crown of New England’s olden charm.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and it’s still a great place to visit as an adult. Make your own Sundays is the highlight but they have a bunch of gifts and their own homemade candy. If you have kids this is a must see destination when visiting the lakes region.
