First off, NO restaurant should have filthy, dirty floors. Welcoming was weak at best, table service good. Seating was terrible. Paying $70.00 for a chicken pesto sandwich, pork chops and eggs (no adult beverages ordered) and one pat of butter for toast is outrageously priced! My husband got food poisoning. We’ll never go back. And charging one dollar for a plain, paper bag for carry out??? Without your logo on it?

“I stopped by Tina’s Place in Pinole recently and was so impressed. The restaurant was absolutely slammed, but Thomas didn’t hesitate for a second to jump in and get us settled. Even with the huge rush, he stayed on top of everything, kept the coffee/drinks flowing, and had a great attitude. It’s rare to see someone handle a busy floor so smoothly—Thomas is a total pro!
The food was exactly what you want from a great American spot. Everything was hot, fresh, and hit the spot (the portions are generous, too!). It’s clear why this place is a local staple. Great food, but the service from Thomas really put it over the top. We’ll definitely be back!”

First time eating at Tina’s place. I was so excited to come and try out only to be very disappointed. I ordered the ribeye steak it was so tough you couldn’t even cut with steak knife. The waiter, he was horrible definitely not friendly. Burnt toast, just bad my friend ordered the shrimp and grits and they were good . Disappointed day out for lunch. Not sure if I will return. Prices are high and the cook needs to learn how to cook a medium rare steak. They would not offer to cook another one, the waiter just came and removed my food with attitude.

We went here for breakfast. The food was excellent as well as the service. We had variety of things grilled and fried catfish, grits, eggs, bacon, toast and French toast.
