I went with my go-to – chicken korma and garlic naan. They were awesome! Perfect rice, lots of large, tender chunks of chicken on a to-die-for sauce, and wonderful naan.
The service was great – fast and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. No more fast food for me when I’m in Marlboro or Northboro!
Portion sizes are decent, and the naan comes out fresh and soft.
Some dishes could use a bit more consistency in seasoning and heat level.
Service is friendly, though wait times can be slightly longer during busy hours.
Overall, a solid spot for Indian cuisine in the area with room to polish a few details.
I really like the menu where the dishes are mentioned in Desi( Generic Indian language) style. I have been coming here for months now and have brought many of my colleagues here to enjoy it. They liked the food and are super interested in coming back with some gave these tips for improvement.
1. The staff was rude when the amount they received the tip, they were in their 20s who should learn to be more polite and professional.
2. The cleanliness was not up to the mark, they ordered kabab and the plates in which it was served had stain mark( which were old stains that had been there since the last use)
3. The staff again needs to be more polite, he ordered a vegetarian Thali and wanted to have the Chai( Indian Tea) in the end, but they when they sat there for nearly 15 min after paying the bill, they weren’t served the tea. I don’t know if they forgot to serve him or they did it intentionally as he tipped him decent enough not extravagant.
All in all a very good Indian restaurant which needs a lot of improvement to match the standards of hygiene and hospitality.
I have tried the Marlborough location twice and I don’t plan to go again.
Out of the whole buffet/thali, only 2-3 items were decent. The overall variety was okay.
Noodles are soggy and very bland. Their veg briyani/pulao is only not good, lacked real flavours. Service and ambience is decent. They have big place.
Quincy branch is much better in quality, fresher dishes, and overall a good experience.
The atmosphere isn’t anything special, it has more of a casual, everyday restaurant vibe rather than a well-decorated or themed setting. Overall, great food with room for improvement in service and ambiance.
