We love this place. This restaurant is a classic diner setting. The green chile is great. The jumbo slopper was made from scratch. The stuffed sopapilla rules. Never had a disappointing meal here. The decaf coffee is the best in town the fries complete the deal.

Even after getting slammed by a huge rush the Pantry was spot on and delivered great service and outstanding food. As a fellow restauranteur, it was a pleasure to chat with you Kenny and interact with your staff. I went all in with 2 of your breakfast items (breakfast burrito w/ spicy sausage and green chili on the right & a 1 egg, bacon, hash browns, and toast plate to the center and left) I cleared all my plates with a very satisfied belly.

Great place to get a breakfast that’s cooked perfectly. Finding a restaurant that can get over easy eggs and hash browns cooked right is tricky these days but the pantry ALWAYS gets them exactly how they should be. The service is also terrific.

Stopped here based on most reviews. Restaurant was clean, no torn vinyl on seats, maybe recently redone? No wait, food came quickly. lots of blueberries in the hotcakes, and choice of maple or blueberry syrup – and the syrup was warm! My extra-crispy bacon was actually extra crispy. The ham & cheese omelet was very good. Bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. No complaints

Local, mom and pop’s restaurant filled with locals this early Friday morning. Happy Face Pancake was a hit with my youngest. The Biscuits and Gravy is on the top of the list of the best. I went out on a limb and ordered something new…the “Bruncho” which is a stuffed sopapilla filled with ham, scrambled eggs, peppers, and onions topped with Colorado’s special Green Chili. This was delicious!!!

From a hearty breakfast (try the huevos rancheros or enchiladas tejanas for some Mexican flair), to Mexican food with great green chili that deserves a higher position among Pueblo Mexican food staples, to big mouth burgers and down home comfort food with, literally, melt-your-mouth country fried steak, the pantry has you covered.
Usually places with a huge menu should be a red flag. But the pantry is consistently quality food at an honest price. And I’m not just saying this because it’s one of the few restaurants that can please every generation. This is good, honest, food.
