I just had an incredible meal at this steakhouse and I’m definitely coming back! The meat selection was absolutely delicious, especially the Picanha and Alcatra – cooked to perfection! The service was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The drinks were equally impressive, and the dessert options were a sweet treat to finish off the night. If you’re looking for quality food and a warm atmosphere, this place has it all!
The steak was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, endlessly circulating, each server appearing like a meat-bearing guardian angel. And then… the chimichurri. Bright, garlicky, herbaceous sorcery. At some point I stopped treating it as a sauce and began regarding it as a main course. I’m fairly certain I consumed a small vineyard’s worth of olive oil.
Now, here’s the thing: Wegovy and excessive indulgence have a very strict “cause and effect” relationship. I chose not to respect that relationship. I layered steak upon steak, baptised in chimichurri, ignoring the quiet pharmaceutical whisper of restraint.
Several hours later, that whisper became a thunderclap.
What followed was less “digestive discomfort” and more “emergency plumbing situation.” It was swift. It was decisive. It was humbling. The kind of evening that makes you reflect on your life choices while gripping the edge of the sink.
To be absolutely clear — this was not Rio’s fault. The food was outstanding. The service was brilliant. The only weak link in the chain was my judgment.
Would I return? Without hesitation.
Would I moderate my chimichurri intake while on appetite-suppressing medication? Spirit willing. Flesh weak.
Post cibum, celeritas inevitabilis.
(After the feast, the speed is inevitable.)
Visiting Newcastle and didn’t know about them.
Staff were great and welcoming and service was superb throughout the evening.
They have a buffet with others shown and then it is all you can eat.
Meat comes to your table.
This is carved at you and you pick off with your tongs.
Pork beef chicken and lamb. Chips brought to table. Meat was high quality.
I would come hungry.
Price was £45 per head so you need to eat your fill in my opinion.
Decor was fun and good atmosphere.
Worth checking out but expect a high cost.
But special mention to our server Daniel he was beyond world doing everything for us to have a great time, also all staff were super nice. Will come again!!!
