I recently visited Tacos El Amigo with a friend, and it was a great experience overall. The restaurant has a fun, welcoming vibe that makes it a nice spot to hang out and enjoy a meal. I ordered the birria tacos, which were flavorful and cooked perfectly, and my friend got the asada fries, which were loaded and really satisfying. We both enjoyed our food and left happy. I’d definitely recommend Tacos El Amigo to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food in a great atmosphere.

The food here was the star of the show. It was one of the best burritos I’ve ever experienced. The meat was tender, the vegetables were fresh and it was a great size for the price. I highly recommend the steak burrito with red sauce. The addition of refried beans sent this one over the top. Service was acceptable and there are plenty of places to sit inside, should you choose to dine in or wait for your order. If you’re thirsty, grab a soda or beer while you wait. This is a great place to eat!

Tacos El Amigo does not miss. I went in expecting good — I left planning my next visit.
The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and packed with the kind of taste that makes you stop mid-bite. But the chiles rellenos? Hands down the best I’ve had. Perfectly cooked, cheesy, and somehow comforting and impressive at the same time.
No-frills, big flavor, zero regrets. I’ll definitely be back. I failed you all the first time, I smashed the food with no photo evidence of its amazingness.

I miss my good food from back home. This place is the closest I can get. I like coming here to get a menudo and some taquitos rancheros. All the food is good. But menudo is just like we eat back home. Only thing that I don’t like it’s that when it’s full you can even move in there. It’s very small and you have to go and get your food so it’s hard. There’s people standing where you pick up food and they don’t move. And they need to put fountain drinks. They only have aguas in fountain. Not everyone likes that. I like the horchata.
Four time we go:
I take back my 5 stars. We went on Saturday to have dinner. I asked for a steak torta. When I bite the first bite it was just pineapple with a piece of me. Second bite was meat but to it wasn’t steak it was pork! We don’t eat pork. Because of religion. Never again will I go back. They made me feel guilty.

AMAZING food! It was my first time trying this place and I got birria tacos and a steak torta. The portions are big, the hot sauces taste great, and overall some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Colorado. I’m from Chicago and always miss the real authentic places. This will be my new go to for sure!!
